I don't think there is a safer pick between poe, and cox.

Two different styles of defensive tackles. Either one would improve the team.

Hard to get excited any any visit, as the panthers are going to meet with all the players they consider top picks. Whether it's anounced or not.

Cox can be pushed out to be a DE besides being on the inside. That's pretty safe in general. Rivera seems to like those type of guys that play more than one role.

Poe's ability also makes him more than capable of playing more than 1 role.

Would be happy with either. Not sure all panther fans can say that.

I know I wouldn't. Poe is a NT, that's about it. He gets pushed around by 200 pound running backs. I wouldn't want him on my team. He has so much potential but did not dominate even in conference. Rather have Cox, Still, Brockers, or trade down before drafting poe.

Bump. Agree. Poe didn't perform so high in a weaker conference.

Fletcher is a beast. He constantly beat DJ Fluker, Anthony Steen, and Will Vlachos when they played Alabama. Reminds me a bit of Nick Fairly

Poe can play other positions as well and not just NT. He can play 3 tech, 5 tech and i even seen him play a 7 tech in a 3 man passing situation. with that said i like Cox more because of the competition he faced, and he had his way at times. either guy would make me happy at 9.

I absolutely love Cox. No homo.. slurp. He reminds me of Gerald McCoy coming out of college. Gerald McCoy was a BEAST at Oklahoma. Not saying Cox will bust, just they play very similar styles. I think we take the 3-tech.. Dontari Poe is not a 3-tech.
