my first Mock Draft with possibly "trades"

The way I see it, picking later in the draft should be on guys like Hardy--tons of upside with some reason they fell- small school, injury history, or even baggage. The closest thing this draft has to Nicks is probably Cordy Glenn. He won't be there in the fifth.

I can say that people who de-emphasize the importance of guards (like Marty Hurney) need to change the way they think. The weakness we had at G last year caused teams to stunt and blitz up the middle. Cam needs to step up. He was flushed from the pocket too often. Many of his interceptions were due to middle pressure, causing him to throw high and off his back foot.

New Orleans knows that G is more important for Brees than T. Brees is short, so he needs no pressure in his face.

I think, however, the problem on the OL is at T. Gross is getting old; Otah is a 330 pounder with bad knees and back. He is done after this year, even if healthy, because we should not pay him a big contract. Bell and Schwartz should be the guards, with Garry Williams in the mix.

exactly . guys like glenn, i see going by the second round. I just think that by me predicting a trade w/cincy. that taking brandon washington would be a decent pick in the second . its a decent smart move. and then i have haters out there that think guards should only be picked in the 4-7 rounds google-ing all these media's draft history where it show that you could find all these later sleepers n bashing me with it.

in our panthers history have w not once been able to find a guard in the 4-7 rounds in made major contribution for us. yes we drafted guys like hangartner n evans mathis but they're not hutchinson or iupati.

Sorry would not put Janoris and Jordan in the same locker-room. Serious as a heart attack, we forget Cam is still young and impressionable. Do not want idiots like them anywhere near our boy Cam. Bad News. One issue i also have is i do not see the Bengals trading up for a RB. They need a Rb granted but the depth at RB this year is decent no need to trade up. There is 5-6 guys that would be and upgrade to Cedric.

I can agree with both of you. More Guards could develop over time. QB is a bad comparison. who knows. Just trust in MH and the rest of the staff to draft whos right.

qb could also develop overtime right? it may be a bad comparison but what im saying is that the media puts the word out there that guards should be drafted till late, but i dont see how drafting a guard in the late 2nd (in my mock draft) is early at all.

saying drafting a "guard late" in the rounds is like sayin draft a "qb only in the first". you take what you need and at whatever spot. if you're a guard away from a superbowl ,you take highly ranked guard prospect. you dont wit till the fifth and take a no name

speaking to you is like speaking with a damn wall . be mature about it and quit callin people "homeboy" . grow up. i would atleast think you were a grown up. we dont need ol help at all but

1. I didn't know "Homeboy" was a derogatory term but if you took it to heart I'm sorry.::sad::sad:

2. Those experts don't know about Schwarts, Williams, Bell, Bernadeau and Brown. They don't know if we sign back Hangarner. So they would be wrong. I've also seen where alot of those guys change their mocks after watching the FO at the combine.

Just because someone doesn't agree with you you call them a hater?

If you put a Mock up don't expect everybody to pat you on the back and agree with you. it doesn't work like that sunshine.

You might need to be the one to "grow Up". This whole MB thing is for people to disagree and debate with each other.

You can't get mad when I bring Facts and you bring your Opinion to a debate.

1. What Media are you talking about? Is there a media Consipracy to keep NFL guards under paid?

Well let me help you I pulled my opinion from history and what the teams who win have done. Not the media.

2. That's my point we don't need a high round guard right now. All I said is you could have picked another impact defender where you picked that guard. You shouldn't throw a hissy fit about that.

3. When has a team ever been 1 guard away from a superbowl?

My opinion I believe we cud use help on the line. If your not happy about it. Go and make your own mock draft. I'd like to see it.

1. You're the one acting funny about me not liking your mock.

2. My facts were that out of the top 20 guards in the league that there are more lower round picks then High picks by a big margin. You won't really find that in any other position except for RB and maybe WR. What were your facts again?

3. I did

and if you don't like it I welcome your Criticism.
