Holy S***!

Laurel is about 20 miles from where I grew up! Laurel was always a rough little town. If you didn't live there, you didn't want to be there after dark!

LAUREL, Ind.State police say five people have been found dead at two locations in rural southeastern Indiana. It wasn't immediately clear if the shooter or shooters are among the dead.

Police responded to the scene after getting a report about a child wandering around a roadway. Authorities then found a dead male at one address, and the bodies of two males and two females at another near the Franklin County town of Laurel, about 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis.

A news release from Indiana State Police doesn't say how they died, but it says it wasn't clear if the shooter or shooters were among the victims.

Police caution neighbors not to open doors and to report suspicious activity to authorities.

Southern Indiana has it's share of rednecks. (So when I moved to North Carolina, it wasn't that big of change for me.)

Civil War General Burnside (who the term "Sideburn" comes from) was Born in Libery, Indiana. Again, not too far from my hometown of Connersville. Besides being a Civil War Col, he was the the first President of the NRA!
