Brayton's ankle not broken.

"Coach John Fox revealed that Panthers LE Tyler Brayton escaped Thursday's game without a broken ankle.

The injury looked bad when it happened, but it appears Brayton got away with a sprain. He's wearing a soft boot on his foot, and doctors will look at it in-depth on Friday. Brayton gave Ravens LT Michael Oher fits before the injury."

safe to say he's done for the preseason.

Depending of severity, ankle sprains take at the very least 2-3 weeks to recover from.

Looks like Hardy will get a shot to start week 1. I just we had them both out there.

Based on what I saw live, I don't think Brayton has a stage 3. If it is, Hardy might see action for 3 or more games.
