We, the media, are entrusted to report the news and comment on the news. We are not supposed to be making the news, unless, of course, you're Ron Burgundy summoning the News Team for a back-alley gang brawl with knives and tridents. Yet every time a sportswriter or sportscaster casts a vote for an award or honor, that person is thrust into the middle of a story. And last week, a business already poisoned by too many conflicts of interest sunk to new lows in the balloting department, to the point there's really only one solution.

Stop voting, friends.

I kind of agree. I always thought the people that would have the best opinion of the players would be the coaches.

another possible voter might be player representatives for each team who could possibly take a popular opinion poll from the players on the team to cast their vote.

who cares, I just have never liked fan voting or writers voting.

    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
    • Move on from what?   Let me guess we gatekeeping on who we can and can't appreciate?   Next time I will just make a Kuechly appreciation thread lmao
