Agreed BB. But that's classic Hoody. Pep never signed an extension, and I think he'll be gone for sure next year, and I think it'll be to the Pats. Especially if Fox is gone. He's only here cuz he was Fox's first pick as a HC.

If it comes down to us having to franchise him again, then I totally agree with shipping him - there's no sense in paying a guy 20 mil to play for one season.

If we can get him under contract for a reasonable amount then I say we keep him, he's the only consistent pass rush threat we've got right now.

I have to say that I think Pep would be a fish out of water at OLB. I know he's made some spectacular plays in the passing game but I think he would really struggle at trying to drop back and play in space and cover TE's and slot receivers 1:1.

From the games i have been seeing they have been using a lot of 43..they prob would mix it up..

But could you imagine what peppers could do in NE...And they get him for free
