Feel like Corey Thornton will absolutely be in the mix in the CB room. Strong camp and rookie season last year for an UDFA. The injury was unfortunate, but I think this staff loves him and he fits the mold from a physical standpoint.

Shoot. Totally forgot we signed Metchie. Gonna be a heck of a camp battle for a handful of guys at receiver.

WR room is a crowded one. Jimmy Horn probably at risk, as is David Moore. Liked Tremayne last year. Wake up call for XL.

Well… I for one am surprised with how the draft has played out thus far and imagine I am not alone. Likely to take some cap maneuvering to make it happen, but who is still out there in the veteran free agent market that could fill some positions of need? Talking LB, Nickel, CB Depth, Safety, Center. Would have bet it all that we would have addressed at least one of those positions in the first three rounds. I still think Trevin, Chau, and Nick Scott are best suited as rotational depth pieces. Not thrilled with the FA center addition after losing Cade Mays, either.

Unfortunately I don’t really feel like Bryce has the arm to maximize this guy’s potential and skillset. Primarily a deep ball guy, ran just a couple routes at Tennessee. Also has some off the field concerns but definitely a talented cat.

Better football player than athlete but damn his testing scores are ugly. Vertical in the 1st %. Yeesh. He does stop the run which I suspect is what will be asked of him primarily in Carolina.

Still feel like the massive Ohio State DT is a real sleeper for us that not a lot of folks are taking seriously. Especially if we can manage to trade back and still pull the trigger. All he needs to do for us is eat blocks in the run game and that’s what he does best. Brown and Co. and the FA additions can clean up the rest.

Sack production way lower than expected over his career. What am I missing here? I get he’s young and plays a premium position but I’m not loving this.

No thanks on Jaelan Phillips. Good player, long long history of serious injuries back to his college days. At one point he had basically medically retired while at UCLA before transferring and then living up to his 5 star rating coming out of high school. Don’t want to throw huge DE money on a guy that’s banged up constantly.
