One of the all-time greatest Panthers. We were so honored to watch TD and Luke play together. Probably one of the greatest LB duos to play the game. You could feel the passion he had for the game and the way he approached the game. I remember many of the huddlers wanting to give up on TD. JR wouldn't do it and we should be eternally grateful to JR for believing in TD. I love the story about Fred Smoot. I happen to be at that game. Smitty ruined his career and to hear TD talk about how really great Smitty was. After this video I admire him even more. One additional thing that I don't like about the NFL is that there are people that put you in a position and don't really care about the outcome. (Talking about the medication that lead to his suspension) I lbelieve TD had no clue what they were doing to him. God Bless TD and once again one of my all-time favorite players.

All these rankings have more to do with the writers love or hate for a team. Morgan, IMO, has done a really good job at building this team. Yeah, there are a couple of whiffs but for the most part he has done quite well drafting and signing free agents. 22 is a bit low but it's a stupid opinion based on how little a writer knows about the Panthers.

When I saw that I was thinking the same thing. If Evero does have a great season and gets hired as a head coach I wouldn't mind see McD as our DC. If we do poorly as a team, I definitely would want him to be the front runner for HC.

Originally, I heard that was going to be available for the season. Hopefully, he'll heal quickly and be available for most of the season.

This is all on Young. He has been given everything he needs to succeed. We have a pretty good offensive line, good running backs and some talented receivers. We've improved our defense. He can't start out the season like he did against Jacksonville and Arizona. If he can't keep us competitive this season than it's time to move on.

If our defense becomes a top 10 defense we will have a winning record. We won't beat every first place team but we have the talent to do it. This IMO will be the make or break for Dave Canales. I have always felt that our offensive scheme was very vanilla. We need to get a bit more imaginative on offense.

Evero has ZERO excuses not to have this defense in the top 10. After the 2024 season he was given a lifeline because he had NO talent on the defensive side of the ball. 2025 showed a vast improvement. 2026 we added two players in free agency that addressed our worst positions on the defensive side of the ball. This season will make or break his future in football. If he has a stellar defense he most likely will be considered for a head coaching job. If he fails, he'll definitely damage his status in the NFL.

I thought about this schedule, and it is brutal. That said most of the games we played against caliber teams we either won or were in the game, minus the New England game. We'll have a much-improved defense and if we can somehow get Brazzell incorporated into the offense and one of our TE step up we might have a nice offense. So, I say we should be in most of these games. Predicting the outcome of these games so soon after the draft before we even have OTA is just guessing so I won't predict.

Maybe one day after he gets away from it. i could see him in the film room before each week doing what he did best. Then bring it to the defense giving them his take on what the offense will be doing. Well outside of Mills he is the only other LB that is in the HOF. We've been fortunate to have great linebackers in our history. Lathom and Green (Salt and Pepper) was another overlooked tandem we had in the late 90s. I would be very envious if you did. I work overseas and just can't plan a trip this year. Don't miss it, it would be a great weekend for sure. My friend lives only an hour or so from Canton. I've been to the HOF a couple of times. It's an awesome place. I'm a huge Unitas Fan and was able to see some of his memorability.

LOL wait until he gets that minimum salary offer. That ought to bring him down a bit.

I'd wish he'd stop fooling around and become a coach. He would be a great DC one of these days.

Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A. Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft. His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move. It was a no brainer pick. Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed. Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR. Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense. Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart) What a great name. A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft. He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5. Someone who could see playing time. Kuwatch I love this pick. At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play. His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game. Good coaching will fix this. He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein. All these picks were great value. I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them. Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
