Any word on re-signing Drayton Florence?

he got signed and then cut and then re-signed again last season. wouldn't be shocked if he got picked up closer to training camp or even later, to be honest

Well the cool part about it was I was on the Panthers and just after we resigned Florence we played the 49ers. All was well until a dragon emerged from the moat we we're playing within and ate Kaepernick's face off leaving nothing but a flat rimmed fitted.

We do still need another CB, but hopefully it's Terrell Thomas, Asante?, or someone through the draft (Verrett).

Thats the advantage of having veterans in the secondary. He wont be shutting down calvin johnson for 2 catches but they wont have any lapses that give up big plays. Behind our front 7 thats pretty good. Id rather have smart veterans instead of young talented guys that blow assignments (norman, thomas, captain, etc)

I hope so we could use him. Pretty solid player if stays healthy. Which he did last if i remember correct i think he played nickle.

I think pro football focus had him ranked top 20 CB . Which is not bad he can still play.

I agree. I felt after the Decoud signing we were done until the draft. Adding T. Thomas to our secondary would make a pretty big difference from last year.
