Will Fox Try To Win With Offense This Season?

No one, because the TE isn't running a pattern. When they have 8 men in the box, our TE is blocking.

But I agree with your point, we do need to get the TE more involved in the passing game. Based on Davidson's history, I can't believe he hasn't gotten them more involved thus far

b/c Fox is the coach and Davidson is running an offense under the Fox philosophy.

They won with offense most of the year in 2008. Offense does not win championships. The D HAS to step up. It hasn't really given fans much to be excited about since 2005 and IMO has never been what I would call an elite unit under Fox's watch. I haven't lost hope that the D will be improved despite Kemo's being lost for the year though.

This is the worst cliche in football. It pisses me off so much. I cringe all 1,324,987 times that I hear somebody say this (or "Defense wins Championships") during the NFL season.

It's so stupid and illogical. In a way it's right though; offense doesn't win championships but neither does defense. Scoring more points than the fuging opponent wins championships! Doesn't matter how you get it done; winning wins championships. 3-0 or 49-48 a win is a win.

More likely with the exception of Barnidge, King and Rosario do little else beside catch a cold. Neither can stretch the field or pressure a defense like a guy like Witten can. You are better off having them block than going out on a pass pattern. At least blocking they can't bat the ball up to the opposition.
