Medellin's Official Mock Draft

Guys who are currently projected around the 3rd that I think could be a "#1" and would very much prefer over Street:

Davante Adams

Donte Moncrief

Donald Coleman

Jarvis Landry

Also, all "#2-3" WRs aren't created equal.  Getting Street in the 4th isn't as much value as the guys I just mentioned in the 3rd, in my opinion.  And none of them would be reaches.

Anyone COULD be a #1. No one thought Pitt's Brown who was 2nd in the league in receiving yards would be a #1. Dude is 5'10 played at Central Michigan and was drafted in the 6th round.

I know we need Oline help but drafting 2 rookie OT in the 1st 2 rounds isn't helping that much. People need to just get it thru their heads. Byron Bell is going to be a starter on this team!!. Not getting a WR (in the best WR draft in decades) until the 4th round is asinine. Considering all the off-season moves.

Pretty sure people said the same thing about DT's last year and we were actually in better shape DT wise than we are OT wise.

Getting two OL studs would help this team a ton.

Unless Bell's improves ALOT, he will not be a starter on this team two seasons from now (1 more FA and 2 drafts away).

Actually it was about the same situation as DT last year. Edwards was injured and old and the rest were unproven.

They are talking up Bell and it isn't a smoke screen.

Gettelmen is smart enough to know that any OT after the top 4. Will best starting on the right side for at least a season. Gross didn't started at LT and he was a top 10 pick.

Bell is your starting LT get use to it.

Also just my opinion. This whole off-season seem logical if Gettelmen plan was to take advantage of this draft wealth at WR.

He let all the Wr go and olny brought in older transitional players.

And you think Street is the olny WR they will get.

Edwards was/is much better than Bell. Edwards was beasting it 2 seasons ago. Bell on the other is straight garbage.

Rivera is gonna start who ever he thinks is best suited for LT. Which may or may not be Bell.

I actually dont think we will double dip at OT the first two rounds. More probable we draft a WR in the first 3 rounds. This draft is what I think would improve us the most. I see Cyrus/Moses as dominating RT's and I see Turner at the least a solid LT with the ability or potential to be a very good LT.

If for some reason those players were off the board id most likely go WR. Esp is Turner is gone as I dont see another LT prospect I like alot in the 2nd+ rounds.

I we were to double dip early at OL, i'd like the second guy to be Gabe Jackson.

I don't know why you'd bother touching Lynch tho, too many red flags.

I wouldnt mind Jackson if we had ANY decent OT on the roster. Sadly that is not the case.

As for Lynch, risk/reward/potential

Edwards had 1 season but was injured in the off-season leading to big ? on weather he would return to form.

The coaching staff thinks Bell played better then most fans think.

The coaching staff and front office are talking Bell up as a LT. How he's a natural LT and played it all thru collEge He will get every opportunity at the job.

And to be honest I feel more comfortable with Bell at LT then any rookie we get after the top 4.

Let's all so remember that last year was a deep DT draft and Gettelmen took advantage of it. With all the off-season moves he seem to be doing the same thing. Taking advantage of the deep positions in the draft.
