Zod's Official Panthers Mock Draft Rounds 1-3

I'm uncomfortable with Moses in the 1st. I really hope a prospect falls so we don't reach for this guy.

On Roberson, I like him and don't hate the pick but I just don't see the team going CB early, unless it is for a top guy like Fuller in the 1st.

Retarded? What are you basing this off of?

Abbrederis could easily be BPA in the 3rd...

Well obviously i dont know for sure, but..

1. Current draft grades.

2. The depth at each position

3. Teams' needs

The guy might be a good receiver but being one of the best route-runners in the draft doesnt mean you are primed for the NFL. Route-running, believe it or not, can be improved while athleticism cannot. GMs are clearly more interested in the latter. People keep talking about his performance against Roby, I didn't watch that game but i did watch Robys DB drills during the combine and he looked very stiff which can get you in trouble against good route runners in college.

His need for attention.

I honestly think Eagles want Odell Beckham over Cooks. Philly media is having a hard on for Beckham. Beckham have a very good first two steps which is essential in philly offense.

I wouldn't be upset if we got Beckham either but Cooks has always been my first choice.

Ok, fair.. but its also nuts to think he or roberson will be the BPAs at our picks in the 2nd or 3rd, actually thats just downright retarded.

Do not know much about Roberson....so I can't comment on him.

If JA is there at the end of the 3rd, I would say that he probably IS tha BPA at that position.

Wow. He is primed for the NFL. Being so pro ready for the NFL, gives JA a head start over a ton of prospects. This means he can work on other things like strength etc and be ready to be a day 1 starter.

GMs are clearly more interested in athleticism?(not both?) Like what evidence do you have of this. Plus JA might not be the the fasted or most elusive but he's on the field quick.

Have you even watched Abbrederis? And how can you judge Roby solely on combine drills???

I wouldn't mind it, albeit the draft as a whole would depend on the picks following these 3, but it seems reasonable and realistic, regardless of what people think. However, I think DG surprises us in the first 3 rounds by going DL/LB at some point or a possible double dip at OT. The draft just needs to get here already...
