Worst player to ever lace up in a Panther uniform

Everette Brown needs a mention here too. Dude was awful. I'm still pissed we gave up a 1st round pick for him.

I think you can see him doing his patented *stay in place* spin move on street corners for nickles.

Seriously  he completely killed the spin move....he never understood WHY one might want to spin......uhhh...the idea isn't to end up in the same spot you started from.

He was a developmental prospect that was a product of Marty Hurney being played by the Patriots. I loved Armanti in college but I do believe his best path would've been at quarterback in Canada. He would thrive up north.

He was not drafted as a developmental prospect...we gave up a 2nd then used a 3rd on him...not even mentally handicapped GMs like Hurney do that for projects.

You're acting like he was a 7th rounder when in reality he was drafted in the rounds where starters are expected to come from. He was expected to win the return job and compete for WR time...he just can't play NFL football d2 is long ago.

Brian St Pierre

He had a memorable play against the Ravens

The fact that we signed St Pierre to start and Keith Null to back him up off the street over risking Tony Pike seeing the field make that a non contest.

Pike, with a lap.

Still, there are plenty of players that are way worse.

I don't think Jarrett should be in the running. He was a pretty talented player, just too stupid to learn a playbook. On the occasion he actually cracked the line-up, he had good hands and ended up with some catches, even a TD.

If we're gonna pick a WR for the list, it should not be him. I think we all know who it should be. A dude who had less catches in his career here than Jarrett had in his rookie season alone.

yeah it's like he had no idea that he was blowing his shot to have a 10+ year NFL career and be a multi-millionaire.  he treated his time with us like an internship or something.

it's true that he was somewhat productive when he actually got on the field though.  he made one of the receptions that iced the regular season game against the cardinals in 2008.  it's kind of been forgotten but he did have several big catches against the chargers in the opener.  i'm hesitant to include him for the same reasons you provided.

yeah this is all it was.  i'm an app state alum and fan and it seems like the panthers don't have the greatest penetration in boone.

i bring this up every time the armanti topic comes up, but you guys should read the comments on appfan.com whenever any news related to armanti edwards surfaces.  you'll be falling out of your chair laughing at that poo.  there are several regular commenters who legitimately think that edwards has hall of fame level talent and the panthers screwed him which is why he's not starting somewhere and racking up pro bowls.  it's like they watch an alternate universe version of the NFL.
