Word Documents to PDF, Is There an Easy/Fast Way?

Right now I am waiting for some people to send me some of the documents so I guess that didn't cross my mind because I do not have them in my possession at the moment.

I do wonder about the quality of the scan but it's worth a shot and I could test it ahead of time.

If your scanner is poo and you can't think of a better way to do it, once you have all the documents take the to FedEx Kinkos and pay $1 for them to scan them into a pdf. They have great scanners.

Just a last resort if you can't sort it out another way....

Good luck with whatever you're applying for!

Before I acquired Acrobat, I used something like this PDF Merge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfmerge) to merge PDF files.  It imports bookmarks from PDFs and also lets you create new ones.  Play around with it, see if it does what you want.  If you need any basic help with it let me know.

I just imported one of my sets of grants and used the tool and it worked fine, so that might do the trick for you.

Thanks mav, I am applying to what would be a dream full-time internship that would put me on the fast track to the career I want to have one day. Fingers crossed but I imagine it is highly competitive like anything in the world of sports.

I'll check out that link and play around with it and let you know how I make out.

I have about 7-8 word documents that need to be combined into one single PDF file and then uploaded to an application online. What would be the easiest way to do so? I really have never dealt with creating my own PDF files so I am unsure even where to start.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just download PDF Creator.  It just sets up a printer object for you.  All you do then is combine the word documents, print to the PDF Creator printer object...and it takes care of the rest.  Doesn't make it a text-searchable PDF, just a PDF.  If you want test-searchable, you'll need to purchase Adobe Acrobat or something else.
