Keyshawn Johnson Arrested

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Sometimes they don't turn that way until marriage and kids. Everyone is a great psychologist until it's their turn. Everyone have a plan until life smacks them right in the mouth. The cops don't need to determine who right or wrong in domestic situations. They can lock up either party or both. Remember that. You can slap someone's hand away from your face and the cops have all the right to lock you up for that action. Remember that! Don't judge. Creating an absolute rule not to hit women could apply to frail skinny man as well.

The size of the man makes no difference. I'm married with kids and if my wife turned violent, she'd be gone. Having kids or being married doesn't excuse domestic violence. You really think you're doing your kids a favor by staying in a violent home? You can try to justify it all you won't but hitting a woman isn't acceptable to me.

Not that easy(the bold). Tell her she's gone and she flings the closest hard object in your face. Now you find yourself in agony with pain while she's still pound your face with punches. There is a reason there is no law that says you can't hit any particular person, especially in self defense. Everyone have the right to defend themselves. Women are ground adults and should understand the consequences of raising their hand on another person. Some lack that understanding, so you can't jump to conclusion in domestic situations. Women can't be exonerated by default. There is a population of violent women in prison too.

Jump to conclusions? She was injured as a direct result of what Keyshawn did, therefore he was arrested and she was not. I didn't see anything about him defending himself. I don't even think he claimed he was defending himself.

As far as being attacked by a woman goes, we can agree to disagree.

You can't generalize. I used to work with a couple when I was a kid on a farm. The husbands loving wife out weighed him by about 50 pounds, and it was mostly muscle. He would regularly get drunk on Friday or Saturday night and would show up to work on Monday morning with shiners, cuts, and bruises where his wife beat the piss out of him. She would be of course unscathed. It was spousal abuse all right. But no one seemed to care because it was a guy on the receiving end.

So you're saying if a woman was attacking you, you wouldn't defend yourself?

I will not fight/strike a woman unless my life is in danger. If a woman attacks or hits me, I would leave the situation and she'd never be with me again. I may have to push her away to get out of the situation but that's it. It's that simple.....I was raised to not hit women and I've raised my son the same way. I'm surprised by the people who seem so quick to whip a woman's ass in this thread.

Don't know any of the details of the story here.  Will say this in general...

A guy who hits or abuses a woman doesn't deserve to be called "a man".

Didn't he also try to chase down Bieber on foot and kick his ass, too? Neighbors, you know...

Does that put him in the same category as hitting women?

Here is a general rule:  Don't hit women and children.  I am tired of hearing men justifying why they feel there are situations where that is warranted.  If you cannot leave a violent situation, then I would question your ability to either please your woman or find a good one.

Bieber is a category all his own.

He is over 18 now, isn't he?  He may look 12 but as long as he's actually over 18 he can validly get his ass kicked.

Everyone on the "you should never ever hit a woman" train keeps making references to "leaving the situation" or "finding a better woman" so there's "no excuse for ever hitting one", which is fine and perfectly understandable in the domestic situation, no one in their right mind can advocate hitting your significant other, but to apply a blanket statement like "there is never an acceptable reason to hit a female" without admitting there could be certain exceptions to this rule is absurd.

It's dark, and you and your significant other are walking through a dimly lit parking lot, and a hooded person jumps out from behind a car and starts throwing punches, you'd whoop that ass without even considering it. Even if a female happened to be under that hood, no one would blame you or say "Awww man you're never, ever supposed to hit a girl!"

Now you're walking through a parking lot in the afternoon and a pissed off woman charges up to you and starts throwing punches, why should she receive any less of an ass whooping? Both perpetrators aggressively engaged you in physical manner, but it's okay if you didn't know it was a female, but not if you do know?

Basically, I think we should all be able to agree, it's never okay to hit a lady, but laying the smack down on a crazy bitch may, at times, be unavoidable, just don't go overboard and cross the line. I mean they are mostly physically inferior, one swift hook should probably be enough. Haha I kid, I kid!

I'm not quick to whip anyone's ass.

I'd try to remove myself from any violent situation before fighting if possible. I'm not a violent person at all.

I'd hit a woman for pretty much the same reasons I'd hit a man, and if you can't say that also then you're probably way too quick to physically attack people for really terrible reasons.
