TMZ reported Johnson smashed his girlfriend's phone, causing a gash to her hand.

"According to law enforcement, Keyshawn was involved in a fight with his ex -girlfriend when things allegedly got physical . Sources say he smashed her phone, causing a gash to her hand."

Charlie Murphy once said that anytime arguments started escalating to that point he would run and lock himself in a bathroom. He would then call the police and refuse to come out until they got there. Thats the only way he could prove he wasn't the aggressor.

Yea that's about right. Its even domestic if a woman grabs you and you push her away.

Domestic Violence is viewed very badly in prison and guys don't take kindly to wife beaters.

That being said, one of my old cellys used to say it's only Domestic Violence if you are sleeping with her. Otherwise, it's just simple assault.

Moral of the story? Don't ever, ever, ever hit YOUR woman. But if some random chick is beating the poo out of you trying to act like a man? Well, treat her like one.

I saw a woman 3 weeks ago drag a man out of his car and whup his ass.  He kept his hands up talking about how he won't hit a woman.  Apparently that gave her carte blance to not only whup his ass, but to talk sh.. while doing it. 

 

Say what you want... Man woman, child, etc.. some people deserve to catch a blow.  Not a beat down, not physically abusing a woman to get her to do what you want.  No jealous rages, etc etc. but there are exceptions....

 

This crazy old lady once put her fingers around my neck once at work simulating a choke. She was playing, but still both my hands were up until her hands left my neck...lol. If the roles were reversed and I was "playing" like that I probably woulda been canned haha

If it gets to the point where I want to start smashing things, hit her, or she's hitting me.....it's time to find a new girlfriend. I've been married to the same woman for 23 years and we've had some very heated arguments but never to the point where things get destroyed or violence becomes an issue. At some point, you have to shut up and find your own space to cool down. There's no excuse to hit a woman unless she's trying to kill you.

I must certainly say that it is wrong for a man to put his hands on a woman period. WIth that being said, the laws/courts can be so unfair to men who are actually doing the right thing. I seen it in action and it is sad to see. For the most part, the woman's words has more weight than the man's. I know that is not the case with all situations. If you ever find yourself in a hostile situation. It is best to take the higher road and leave. No need to argue and make it worse. Back on topic, I would hope Keyshawn didn't do anything and his name is cleared. WHo knows, I wasn't there

Ok so the woman is aggressive and violent. Once you know that about her......leave her, walk out, dump her, break up and move on. That advice goes to men or women in any aggressive/violent relationships. If a woman hits you, leave. If a woman is berating you, leave. If a woman is inciting you to violence, yep - leave. Not many women can keep a man confined but if you are, call the cops. Hitting her because she "deserves" or "provokes" it is never justified unless your life is in danger.

Honestly I wish more women took that sort of advice.  The number of women who will stay with a man even after he's hit them is just depressing.

Welcome to North Carolina, where "Assault on a female" is an additional and higher charge than simple assault, and makes sentencing much worse...
