Pre-Draft Lull

The first round of the 2014 NFL Draft is a little more than two weeks away (17 days to be exact) so if you're going around the internet looking for football news, you may want to give it a rest for a while.

 

The last few weeks before the draft don't generally see a lot of action in free agency.  So outside of draft day speculation or some unexpected scandal/arrest, pro football news may be kinda hard to come by for the next sixteen days.

 

Granted the draftniks may have a fair share of fodder for discussion.  But if that's not your thing, these next few weeks are likely to drag.

More time to learn about players.  I'm going to take advantage.  I'm starting to think this L'Damian Washington kid out of Mizzou might be a nice 6th or 7th round snag.  I want a lot of competition at receiver and we need more size.

Since we are in a lull....  What round would you all consider taking my guy Dri Archer in?  He'd certainly solve some issues.  He'd aid the ground game as well as the receiving game and the return game.  He gives you deep speed and quickness we have in none of our current guys.
