Parsons over Hayward? Da fug?!? lol

Parsons- 38 MPG, 16.6 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 4 APG, Shoots 47% (That is also a career avg) with 37% from three. 75% Free Throw shooter and averages 1.9 turnovers a game.

Hayward- 36 MPG, 16.2 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 5.2 APG, shoots 41% and 30% from three. 81% free throws and averages 2.8 turnovers a game.

Parsons is a better shooter who can still attack the rim off the dribble. He would fit in nice with Kemba and kick-outs from Big Al. Parsons is same size and has more athleticism. Parsons is a better player than people give credit. Always gets overlooked but provides top 10 SF numbers. Hayward is a good player but to laugh at the other option when stats show the truth.

Tyrus's contract is up this year I thought, and Blatche has been fine in Brooklyn; no problems whatsoever.

Nvm, clause doesn't reset until 2016.

All good, I would be hesitant to mess with team chemistry for a player with that many questions and not great reward. At best he is a fill in starter to good backup... Not worth the risk to me when others are comparable players with less questions.

While I agree that Parsons is a better player and I would prefer him, Hayward has a much heavier offensive burden on him on a terrible Utah team than Parsons does on a really loaded (at least offensively) roster.

Yeah I agree. Different situations but I was more pointing out the fact that both are similar players and to laugh at either in comparison is dumb. What could Hayward do with help versus what could Parsons do in a slightly bigger role? Parsons would come fit into same peg he is in at Houston with a creating Guard and a solid inside presence. I like the fit of Parsons better... even though I don't expect either to really happen.

They are similar to an extent. However, personally I feel Hayward has visibly a better handle and is able to create better for himself and teammates.

Additionally, like the other poster pointed out, much easier to have higher shooting % when you are a 3-4th option. Hayward is practically Utah's main scorer and facilitator.

With all that said, Hayward is in my opinion is a notch above Parsons.

i have to edit my thoughts to make them realistic cus there's no way we can afford Lance and Pau..

Pau Gasol - Ramon Sessions - Loul Deng

Roster look like this...

PG- Kemba - Sessions

SG- Neal - PJ Harriston (draft pick)

SF- Deng - MKG - CDR

PF- Gasol - Zeller - McBob

C- Jefferson - Biz - (draft pick)

add in the bestshooting SG with the Portland pick

You took away to of our best defensive shooting guards in Henderson and Taylor, what was the reasoning for that?

Now we have a horrific defensive backcourt.

Hendo could be packaged with the Portland pick to move up if possible. i think its time to move on from him IMO, but if he is okay with coming in off the bench id be happy with that, but we need a starting SG, period

Taylor, i am not banking on too much from him for next year- even though i am hoping for the best..

Dam you made the team really old really fast for no reason at all. I don't want the older in their last few year veterans types. So hell no to Deng, and Gasol.
