we're leaning heavily towards Moses, even though I think that he's more of a RT than a LT.

Hell, we need 'em both.  It's high time for this organization to stop pretending that Byron Bell is a starting caliber NFL OT.  He was a good story stepping in and performing admirably for an undrafted rookie FA, but enough is enough.  I understand giving him a shot in his sophomore season to take the next step, but stop it already.  He's not a starting caliber OT, period.  I don't care which side you put him on.  He's just not good enough.

haha y'all are brutal... here i drafted according to what I think the Panthers should do. go easy on me guys. this thread was more speculation than anything. i thought that would have been obvious lol. anyway...

Round 1: OT Morgan Moses

Round 2: WR Davante Adams

Round 3: WR Jarvis Landry

Round 4: OT JaWuan James

Round 5: DT Justin Ellis

Round 6: CB Aaron Colvin

Round 7: DE Aaron Lynch

i could have taken Trent Murphy in the 7th as well, but had to decide which was the bigger need, DE or TE.

does this set better with y'all? haha.

Here's one I just did on NFL draft game...probably the highest score I've gotten on one so far. Lol at Latimer being a bad pick in the 5th though. Would be thrilled with this, even though I didnt manage to get any one of my favorite WRs (Matthews, Moncrief, Benjamin). Also don't know much at all about Niklas:

Your score is: 5199 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 28: Marqise Lee, WR, Southern California (A-)
Round 2 Pick 28: Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia (A)
Round 3 Pick 28: Troy Niklas, TE, Notre Dame (A)
Round 4 Pick 28: Antone Exum, CB, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 5 Pick 28: Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana ( B)
Round 6 Pick 28: Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke (A)
Round 7 Pick 10: Dri Archer, WR, Kent State (A)

I absolutely agree! My issue, however, is looking at it from the perspective of: yes, you could get Moses in the 1st at 28... But, you could also get Fleming in the 2nd who is also strictly a RT, put still giving you the flexibility to draft someone in the first that you really like, like, for example, a WR or TE.

I think this Draft is going to see us pull away 3 offensive linemen in the 7 picks. I don't think Center will be one of the positions, but it's possible. What I'm thinking is a haul that ends up looking like: 1 RT, 1 LT, 1 RG, 2 WR, 1 OLB or RB, 1 DT or DE.
