Iirc, he was going to play for another school & informed them he was going to do LDS missionary work for 2 years before attending school. When he was done, the coach that had recruited him was leaving, so he changed schools & had to sit out a year.

I really don't expect both Johnson and Davis to be on the team next year.  Gettleman will make these kinds of decisions and some fans will hate him.  But it will be done.
