Charlotte Bobcats vs. Miami Heat Playoff Series Thread

I'm excited for the future...

We shot 42% to the Heats 52% and were outshot at the line by 10 (-24 over the past two games) yet we hung in there with the champs and were a three pointer away from sending that thing to OT.

By the way, for those wondering... the fouls were close. We had 22 to their 21. The difference was that about 17 of our fouls resulted in them shooting free throws as where about 11 of their fouls resulted in us shooting free throws.

I just finished watching on DVR delay, and as you all have already, I need to vent.

Our bench is playing like total utter poo. Gary Neal the "shooting" specialist couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. Cody Zeller looks like he's never played organized ball. All the clamoring for him to play over Josh all season is over and done with. Right now, experience matters, and he can't even stay on his fugging feet. It's pathetic watching him out there.

CDR is in over his head, can't defend their wings. Luke sucks, AT is one dimensional and streaky as hell. Biz didn't even play tonight with Al on just one good foot.

With a poo bench, our starters can't rest, so they are gassed when it matters in crunch time. Clifford obviously realized this as he stuck with starters most of the second half. As soon as we made that progress and closed the gap he subbed in Neal and CDR and we immediately poo the bed.

I'm beyond frustrated watching the Heat players act entitled throughout the game, it's as if they've never committed a foul when some of their muggings could be charged as a felony.

I hope Lebron shreds every ligament in his knee on the center court of TWC arena, and every Bobcat lines up to piss in his mouth. And fug you Bosh, you toothpick cock sucker, I hope you get syphillis if you don't already have it. Birdman will give it to you.

I'd like to say I feel better after that, but I don't. MKG exceeded his potential tonight and god damned Al Jefferson gave all he had with a torn plantar fascia. Everybody else can stand around jerking off or bust their ass and contribute. If Neal doesn't start dropping shots at home, he can go eat a bag of dicks.

I love this team!

I was going to say that our bench hurt us.

I love CDR, but realistically he should be getting like 5 minutes a game. That's why I'd like to get McDaniels who could come in and give us 15 minutes a game while MKG gets around 25 and since both players are similar (except McDaniels can shoot) we wouldn't really miss a beat.

The front office also needs to convince Henderson to be the sixth man. We have no scorers on the second unit and there is no doubt in my mind that he could take any second unit shooting guard in the NBA off the dribble and to the hoop.

In my opinion, Sessions - Henderson - McDaniels - Zeller - Biyombo looks a hell of a lot better than Ridnour - Neal - CDR - Zeller - Biyombo.

MKG can't be stopped when he attacks and is aggressive like he was tonight. His first step is too quick and explosive for any other SF in the NBA to defend. So MKG please continue to attack the hell out if Lebron.

I know it said all the time, but if he ever develops a jumper.... oh baby.

Top five player in the NBA.

It took Paul George three years to reach his potential, which is why I'm looking forward to seeing if MKG does the same next year.

Why does a Nets fan spend so much time and effort talking trash to Bobcats fans on a Bobcats board?

First, I've talked no serious trash. Friendly banter? Sure. Second, I moved up here in 2011 after spending 18 years of my life in Charlotte. I had season tickets to the Panthers for seven seasons, which is why I'm on this board in the first place. I was a huge Hornets fan but could never love the Bobcats the same way. I tried. I was a block from the damn arena too. So when I moved up here I started liking the Nets instead. It makes sense. I mean, all you guys hate fans of the Steelers, Skins, and Cowboys that live there and wonder why they don't cheer for the home team instead. Right? Well while I'll NEVER stop following the Panthers, switching to the Nets from the Bobcats seemed like a wise choice. But with Charlotte still in my blood, I'm still going to keep up with the team for a while longer. Make sense?

Anyone that is a Yankees fan or anyone from NY doesn't have a place to talk.  Get lost and go back home, please?  Yankees have won tons of titles, and bought most of them, they are the ratings kings and get to go very often.  MLB is probably the most pure though even with salary cap BS.  And LOL at ONE game in a 162 baseball season when someone gets ejected.  Get real.

No they got real fouls called?  Cool.  Lebron also gets away with double the charges during a game than what is called.  What about last game?  Like 8 fouls total for Miami?  Come on.

And how classy, talking about late term abortions.  Your mother must be proud of the immature yankee scum you have become.   All it takes is to read up (can you read?) on how ratings work on TV and how advertising also works in correlation to that.  Then you will understand why things happen.  Generally, it is known the NBA is one of the most rigged and unfair pro leagues with all the flopping and superstar calls.  If you want a better argument, since you just want to argue for the sake of it, then you should ask why we even watch?  Because the fact that the NBA is or isn't rigged isn't a question, most people know it is the facts.

I like when you guys get angry. BTW, I work in advertising. That said, I'm just sick of the hypocrisy that goes on in here. If you were to go to a Heats board, for example, and read when THEY felt a bad call went against them, guess what, you'd side with the refs. If a Heat player had rammed his arm into Walker's neck, you guys would cry bloody mercy at how "dirty" the player was. I'm not saying the NBA is clean by any means. I'm just saying give it a rest some time. The refs are not always the reason you lose, yet that's the very first thing you guys whine and cry and bitch and moan about. I know, I know, if I am sick of your crying, I should leave. Sorry, that's not going to happen. You're free to whine and moan, I'm free to call you out on it. I'm also sorry you're insecure about Charlotte and the Carolinas as a whole. Yes, you don't have the media presence or money the Northeast teams do. I wish ALL of you had the balls of SCP. At least he reps the teams and the area proudly instead of, "Boo hoo we can never compete with the big markets. It's rigged. They never want us to win." It makes you sound so inferior and conspiracy-driven.

If they're the worst why read and post in their forums?

Trust me, I have season tickets to the Nets for next season. I'll probably join a Nets board and at LEAST be out of your hair on the Hornets forum once the Playoffs are over. I'll always be on the Panthers section though. They're my team for life. I get a bad rap on here for being too much of a realist but also having a pissy attitude. Sorry, I'm just not a homer. I don't spew back what I'm spoon fed by the team and its aura. I speak my mind.

I feel like you could see MKG coming into his own tonight. Hopefully he is maturing into the type of player we need and maybe this playoff series is what pushes him that way.  Imagine if you were in his shoes, first round of the playoffs and guarding someone you have probably watched throughout most of your amateur career and being able to bring it. Hope he keeps it up.
