Charlotte Bobcats vs. Miami Heat Playoff Series Thread

Are they the same model blinders you guys wear when you blame EVERY single loss on the refs? That blinder company must make BANK. Remind me to buy some stock in their company.

Here's some ammo for you. I'm a Yankees fan. Pineda got ejected tonight for having pine tar on his neck. Feel free to laugh at that.

And btw, the Heat got numerous offensive fouls called on them tonight. Did you think those were bad calls by the refs? If Heat fans did, would you argue that the fouls were fair?

Homers are the absolute worst.

But hey, as long as you all aren't Red Sox or Saints fans, you're not worthy of LATE LATE LATE term abortions in my book.

Carry on.

Anyone that is a Yankees fan or anyone from NY doesn't have a place to talk.  Get lost and go back home, please?  Yankees have won tons of titles, and bought most of them, they are the ratings kings and get to go very often.  MLB is probably the most pure though even with salary cap BS.  And LOL at ONE game in a 162 baseball season when someone gets ejected.  Get real.

No they got real fouls called?  Cool.  Lebron also gets away with double the charges during a game than what is called.  What about last game?  Like 8 fouls total for Miami?  Come on.

And how classy, talking about late term abortions.  Your mother must be proud of the immature yankee scum you have become.   All it takes is to read up (can you read?) on how ratings work on TV and how advertising also works in correlation to that.  Then you will understand why things happen.  Generally, it is known the NBA is one of the most rigged and unfair pro leagues with all the flopping and superstar calls.  If you want a better argument, since you just want to argue for the sake of it, then you should ask why we even watch?  Because the fact that the NBA is or isn't rigged isn't a question, most people know it is the facts.

If they're the worst why read and post in their forums?

I thought the game was officiated ok. Without looking at stats sheet it had a feel of consistency. They have superstars and are the 2 time defending champs at home. They are going to get the favor of the league, if you watch basketball on the regular you already know that. It just hurt with us jumping into them too much on jumpers but we got our fair call on off fouls on Miami.

It's true, the league is rigged, I just wonder why we still watch, lol?  You realize sports fans are just accepting these facts and keep watching, and making up excuses as to why teams get calls.  It's ruining the competitive side of sports and has been for like 15 years.

No foul on that last play. Just incompetency.

Bobs lost this game because Kemba and GN were a combined 6/26. That's really how Bobs work. When Kemba shoots less than 15 shots or has a FG % of 45% or better, Bobs win. Anything else and they lose.

Heat 2, Bobs 0.

Bron 0, McBob 1.

There was a foul when the ball was ripped out of CDR's hands.  Why else would a team go balls the wall and run in grabbing the ball with two people unless you knew you wouldn't get called?  If two of our guys did that to them, instant foul.   Miami fans even agree.  It is what it is though.

Ok how about this? No way the refs are calling a foul on the last possession at home for the defending champs playing a team that's been to the playoffs twice in their existence.

You need to know your place as a team. Expecting a call there is just silly*

* I do believe that would have been a foul on the other end but I'm not blaming the refs. It is what I expected.

I was really impressed with MKG tonight.  If he ever gets a jump shot he'll be one of the best players in the league.  I know, that's a big if because that thing is ugly.  But he's so smooth.  We are really close.  Kemba, MKG, Big Al can be elite but as you saw with the Heat you need more than some elite players.  Our depth is really bad.  That second unit it hard to watch.

I still have a lot of hope for  Zeller especially if he can bulk up some.  And Clifford really knows how to use the pieces he has.  I was amazed how they kept coming back tonight with just really solid team basketball.

Oh yea, that block MKG had on Wade was a thing of beauty.  Marc James is so full of crap when he says MKG isn't an elite defender.  You know you're a huge Charlotte sports fan when you willing to subject yourself to what passes for sports radio on the drive home from work.

Really proud of how the team kept fighting and can't wait to see the series in Charlotte.

It's cool if you are OK with excuses in a competitive game.  I envy you, it makes it easier to take it and shut up when we lose to more popular teams.  It shouldn't matter who you are or how many times you've been wherever, but that is the point, fans are OK with these excuses.  We're screwing ourselves out of real competitive games when we do this though.  I understand that is just how the league is now, or pro sports in general, maybe I should just get used to it and expect to lose to these things.

I don't mean to take anything away from MKG's play.  I'm excited for it.  That was the best thing to happen in that game.

But why is it acceptable that the small teams get pooed on all the time? It's either a foul or it isn't not a call one or the other. "You need to know your place as a team" is nothing other than an excuse for the refs to call the game incredibly unfairly.
