You don't know how long I have sat with my button hovering over the purchase button at NFL.com. I swear to you, I put Cam's jersey in my shopping cart ... 2 minutes later I read that Cam is getting ankle surgery.......

I'm not even tempted to buy specific panther player gear anymore.

Please buy a Drew Brees jersey. I know it's gonna be over soon anyways, but I'd like to accelerate his demise as much as possible so the Aints can go back in the toilet where they belong.

Nick Goings (the year before he was cut)

John Kasay (the year he was cut, tried to beat the curse, didn't work)

Jimmy Clausen (year he was drafted)

These are the only five I've ever owned. I will never own another one.

Otah - Had just come off a good rookie season and looked entrenched as a member of the O-Line for years to come.

 

Lucas - Was the voice of the team and had become an important piece of the secondary.

 

Clausen - Drafted as the QB of the future.

 

Goings - Special teams ace and considered untouchable at the time.

 

Kasay - I knew he only had a little time left on the team, but I always assumed he'd retire a Panther.

 

 

But just to clarify, you're telling me that my jersey purchases aren't responsible for team moves?  You just blew my mind.
