Bud Light

Evidently the majority of the beer drinking community. I read a few months back that Bud Light has passed Budweiser as the #1 selling beer in the world.

It's the king of beers whether you like it of not!

King of beers? It's not even beer. It's fermented corn.

amber_history
Alaskan Amber is based on a recipe from a turn-of-the-century brewery in the Juneau area. It was voted "Best Beer in the Nation" in the 1988 Great American Beer Festival Consumer Poll.

amber_ingrediients
Alaskan Amber is made from glacier-fed water and a generous blend of the finest quality European and Pacific Northwest hop varieties and premium two-row pale and specialty malts. Our water originates in the 1,500 square-mile Juneau Ice Field and the more than 90 inches of rainfall we receive each year.

amber_recommendations
Smooth and richly malted, this altbier goes well with king or silver salmon, flavorful meats and hearty Italian dishes. Also pairs nicely with delicate cheeses, artichokes and roasted red peppers - a perfect accompaniment to gourmet pizzas.

Quality? Yeah? Good? Subjective. In my opinion, Wicked Weed is 90% gimmicky beers. They try way too hard. Saisons, a French toast flavored stout, fruity beers, etc. Most breweries will have a unique beer or two but it's pretty much all WW does.

On the other hand, Wicked Weed makes some unbelievable food. I never go though, that place is always jam packed with tourists. They have catered to that and it makes them a load of money, nothing wrong with it.

Wicked Weed seems to be a favorite with tourists and casual drinkers. A majority of locals or serious beer drinkers don't care for it compared to other places in town... Just my .02

Both of my roomies are big time craft beer bros and there's always Hop Drop N Roll in my fridge. I've never had one but they rave about it. One of them is in an craft beer of the month club and gets a case sent to the house of random craft beers around the country. I've had some but I don't know what they were called.

They are both out of town for the weekend ...I might go steal one of those Hop Drop N Roll beers to see what all the talk is about. I'm drinking a BL as I type this.

I like them, too. It's just a different type of brewery. I love the French toast stout. It tastes like liquid French toast. They just don't have regular craft brews, and the ones they do aren't very good compared to others around.

I would eat there weekly if it wasn't so crowded all the time. I love their food. It's probably the best food I've ever had at a brewery anywhere. It's just not worth the hassle to me when there are so many other places around.
