No to Landry.  Like someone here, or an article said, Landry only got by in college because of his great ball skills.  Corners in the NFL are a whole different level, the guy has a 30 inch vertical, an barely get under 4.6, and is 5'11.  He lacks explosiveness and could be covered by most NFL linebackers.

This is completely ignorant. Landry has skills that translate as a quality #2 in this league. He's an exceptional route runner, has amazing hands, better compete ability than most, and will get dirty and do little things like blocking. Would be thrilled if he was on this roster as a #2.

Allen was a completely different situation. He was running on a bum knee at his workout, he was still recovering. Injured players fall in the draft, happens every year.

Draft Landry to be our #2 and we'll have the same issues we had with LaFell, speed. Landry played the slot mostly at LSU, we just signed a ton of those types. We need a legitimate guy with speed that can work the outside (other than Underwood). Landry projects as a number 3 WR IMO.

A 4.75 40 is very concerning, shorts or not.

Why draft a receiver to be your number two? Isn't it true that you want to draft players that would have a possibility to be the number one? This draft is too deep to settle on someonne who can be a number two at best. It's just another Lafell situation.

Landry in the 3rd would be like Keenan Allen in the 3rd last year. Steal. Regardless of the testing, the kid will produce in the NFL.

Keenan had a pretty rare year last year. Not only was he considered arguably the #1 WR in the draft that year that fell due to a knee injury but he was drafted by the right team.

Had we drafted him he likely gets around 600 yards like everyone else on the team. Don't get me wrong tho, I was sreaming at the TV for us to draft him. Which is funny because I had Vacarro and KK in my mock, so the disappointment didn't last long.
