Remember the Eagles preseason game last August? Could Shula be watching the gametape & gettin all inspired by Kelly's 4TE sets? Might we see him open things up, change it up a bit tryin to improve? He's going to have to more creative in some aspects of his playcallin without a deep threat... I know that might be Underwood's role, but I havent seen much of him to really know...

Between Rice and the draft, I am betting that we do add a deep threat at WR before the season starts.

We used it last year quiet a bit but for Shula to come out and state an increase in usage of this formation signifies that it will be used a lot. Use your common sense.

I think Shula knows his ass is on the line this season. I like what we're doing. We're building an offense around our players.

On a more serious note, we don't have to switch to a 12 personnal, we ran our fair share of that last year, whether it was Hartsock, Richie as the H-back, or even Tolbert in that H-back role.

 

D-Lo's TD run in the 2nd Saints game was out of that personnal.
