Kemo has a torn achilles.

When Kemo was out last year, the Giants ran for 300 yards. It was one of Beasons worst games. Without his big body clogging the line, blockers get to the second level and occupy Beason. Kemo is much more important than you guys are implying. Stopping the run will be difficult.

The length of time required for healing is highly variable. Often it may take as long as six months for complete healing to occur.

I know this is premature. But putting him on IR gets some money back to go out and find someone right?

Agreed.

I like some of the younger guys, but Kemo's replacement is not on this roster. The front office better start pursuing other options, and fast.

Maake was probably the player we most needed to stay healthy, as he is our best at a position that is already severely lacking in depth.

You are assuming we will run the same D, which we won't. Gantt was just telling me today how kemo dud not fit this scheme, before he was even hurt.

Hmmm.. that doesn't make sense to me. Obviously I'm not a defensive coach of any type. What type of DT would be better for the new system?

Don't kid yourself man to say that a guy like Kemo doesn't fit into ANY run stopping scheme is foolish.

I bet Meeks wish he had Kemo last season with the Colts.
