Kemo has a torn achilles.

I totally agree! Our whole rushing defense just went right down the drain in one measly practice. I think I may have to redo my prediction now to 5-11. Kemo was alot more important than people realize. I do not want to see that bum Nick Hayden getting pushed back like a rag doll all season like he was in that Giants game. Corey Irvin is too much of an unknown and Damione Lewis has always been average in stopping the run. What a hell of a way to kick off the season.

Jesus, just STFU and go off and die a lonely quiet death.

Rep. You're exactly right. I hollered and hollered during the offseason that we were ignoring defensive tackle completely, yet everyone said it would be fine and that depth really wasn't important and that there was no one worth signing out there.

Congrats morons. We now have Nick Hayden as a starting defensive tackle.

Please join GMan and die a slow, lonely death.

I am so pissed right now at how ignorant Fox and the FO were to not address it and put all of their faith in that neither Lewis or Kemo would get hurt. DT was already weak with the depth we had last year. This year it was replaced by undrafted rookies and a 3rd rounder with just potential so far, making DT even weaker! But we're supposed to be ok with it all because they are "comfortable" with what they have now.

Given our cap situation, the depth that we would have signed in the offseason were the likes of Robertson, Walker, etc...

Newsflash....those players are still available. If we sign a player like Robertson or Walker now, we are in no worse or no better of a situation that we would have been if we did it during Free Agency.

When Kemo was out last year, the Giants ran for 300 yards. It was one of Beasons worst games. Without his big body clogging the line, blockers get to the second level and occupy Beason. Kemo is much more important than you guys are implying. Stopping the run will be difficult.

Beason was also playing with a torn Labrum in that game. Makes it kind of hard to tackle when you only have one good arm....just sayin..

whats with everyone using that one Giants game as a reference.... Yes the #1 rushing team ran all over us that game and Kemo happened to be out.

He also started 14 games last year and we were only 20th against the run... the D as a unit has to get better
