Kemo has a torn achilles.

Man.. I like how no one thinks it's possible for a rookie to fill in. There's still ALL of training camp left. People on here seem to think the only way to save ourselves is if we sign someone off the streets or by a trade. Kemo was big, but some of our picks are just as big. And maybe they can do a better job of getting some push than him. Hell We might be able to sneak on another DE onto the team cuz of this now.

Another thing, our philosophy this year is swarm to the ball. Which should help A LOT with this loss.

irvin would have been a good back up...but i don't think he's ready to go up against the rb's we have to face this year, and what happens if lewis goes down

I am so pissed right now at how ignorant Fox and the FO were to not address it and put all of their faith in that neither Lewis or Kemo would get hurt. DT was already weak with the depth we had last year. This year it was replaced by undrafted rookies and a 3rd rounder with just potential so far, making DT even weaker! But we're supposed to be ok with it all because they are "comfortable" with what they have now.

This!

You have your own crap to worry about. Hopefully Matt Ryan doesn't happen to break a leg or suffer a spleen injury this year. That would be terrible.

So not cool... please grow up now. Thanks.

I'm thinking Harvey has just about the same measurables as Kemo has. Might be we give the kid a chance to start, or it might be we go to a faster NT like some folks here have said. It will be interesting to see how Meeks plays this out, and will tell a lot about what direction this defense is headed in.

Hopefully, the next month and 12 days or so will give him ample opportunity to grow both up and some class. A lot can happen when one hits 18

Thanks for being on top of this one Dimb! Nothing I hate worse than to see anyone wish injury on any player out there, implied or not.

He talks softly, but carries himself a BIG bant! stick to smackdown punks with...

Hardly anyone mentioned Marlon Favorite that replaced Kemo in the morning practices. He looks small compared to most of the DL but how did he do this morning?

I feel really sorry for Kemo. Few play with more heart and determination and fun than he does. Being on the sidelines is gonna kill him. Best of luck, big fella!

No worries. It's amazing how the under-18 so easily out themselves simply by the content of their posts

    • First off, he's not even eligible for a contract yet.  You have to play three years. And thank goodness! All we saw last year were glimpses.  Yes, those glimpses were enough that I think every fan wants to see him come back next year.  But bottom line is that so far, with only a couple games worth of exceptions, he hasn't yet shown that he's a FRANCHISE QB.  He hasn't shown the consistent ability to elevate the players around him. He could be the guy.  After week two of this year, just saying that much is a massive, massive positive swing.  But let's see him put it together for 17 games.  Let's see him make the people around him BETTER.  Then we can talk about extending him. Let's not lose sight of the fact that thus far in his career, in no season has BY exceeded the rookie stats of MAC JONES. We should  be excited for the possibility, but we certainly haven't seen yet what we need to see to declare we have our guy.
    • People cared as it was happening, but after a year or two, most people had moved on. There was no public outcry to bring the NBA back to Charlotte, it just happened.
    • I can agree with that.  Fwiw, I wish we would go back to the 4-3 and bring in a more traditional defensive end.   That being said, I will point out that some thought Thomas Davis would be a safety when we drafted him.  It was of course clear early that lb was his best position.
