Paul Richardson Bandwagon now boarding....

Highlight videos are not a very good way to judge a players ability at all. Your basically cherry picking his top 25 plays he ever made. I am more concerned about the other 1000 plays.

Here is the highlight video of Dwayne Jarret if anyone cares to watch

I've been watching games of every noteworthy college wr and decided to due Richardson next. I watched his Cal, Org, USC and Arz games on draftbreakdown. He's my 2 cents

Pro's - Very fluid route runner, gains separation due to his speed/stride, subtitle off the line with his steps to ward off defenders, capable of making the spectacular catch and snagging stray balls. Great body control, catches with his hands and high points the ball. Good height and measurables

Con's - Extremely thin, didn't face much press coverage in college but when defenders did get physical with him he struggled. Very poor in run blocking unable to hold the point, had some concentration drops. Doesn't run a full route tree. Benefited from some blown coverages

Bottom line - Good player on a horrible team. I think he will struggle initially in the league with the physicality but does offer some potential if gets stronger, adds bulk. High ceiling low floor guy . 4th round grade

Nope just you making decisions on the fly based off college injury history and college size. By your own means that means no Greg hardy, no frank gore, and other standout prospects like Dominique easely this year who could go as high as the second.

Greg Hardy was a 6th round pick not a 2nd or 3rd or even a 4th rounder. Big difference.

Wow pretty much what I said.

Rail thin will have problem with physical CB.

Doesn't run the full route (a lot of outside routes like Mike Wallace)

Doesn't block which is a problem when you're playing on a running team.

Richardson is a good route runner who has the body control to get in and out of cuts quickly. He has the speed to get deep and can come back to the ball well. He shows good hands and does a good job extending to makes catches. He shows toughness and competitiveness by consistently competing for balls in traffic. His run-after-catch concerns me. He is not really strong and needs space. The first tackler is the guy who gets him down. He has average elusiveness, but with his speed, he is dangerous once in the open. As a blocker, he is average. He lacks “pop” and does not stay with blocks.

It's funny because everwhere i look people are saying he runs good routes....not sure where your getting your info.

He doesn't run the full route tree is what I see.
