I don't think most people truly get how deep this wr class is. There will be some studs left in the 3rd. Every week there is a new guy who everyone is obsessed with and thinks we need to take far earlier than his value represents. There is certainly no reason to reach for receiver in this draft. Paul rich is a 5th rounder to me. Not sure I would draft him there though.

He is 4 inches taller than tavon austin, weighs a touch less than austin and runs a 0.65 second slower 40 than austin.

I know austin was a first rounder, but think of how small he is, them imagine him being taller and slower but the same weight and tell me you still would be interested?

If we could get him in the fifth than that would be more awesome but most projections I have seen have him as a late second- third rounder. Also, Austins official 40 time was 4.34 and Ruichardsons was a 4.4 a .06 second difference which is pretty negligible.

Rail thin in this league doesn't last. Specially with team trying to play secondary like the Seahawks. He will be roughed up and I don't feel good about that frame making catches over the middle.

Not a fan.

I like Allen Robinson, Moncrief, Adams and Matthews more then him.

Posting on phone. Meant .065 difference. And yea it does matter. If you are that small you have to be lightning fast, not just fast

Plus about 8-10 other guys. If we were to go receiver in the first I wouldn't be mad at robinson

So he shows ability to take over games when playing Colorado State but struggled against Keith McGill and Rashaad Reynolds who held both held him severely under his 100 yard average.

I fail to see how that relates to Smith. Smith didn't have one single 100+ yard game his 2010 season. He was consistently bad, as where Richardson will go out and get you 200+ yards against Colorado State and Central Arkansas but only a combined 120 yards against Utah and Oregon State.

It relates to anyone who tails off against good corners or defenses...durrr

That's how Smitty even when he was in great form got shut down by Nnamdi Asomugha, etc. on occasion.

He still scored in one of those games vs "higher competition" and he had some Connor Wood and other bleh QBs tossing him the rock....

Randy Moss looked like a scrub in Oakland and we can go on and on with these examples on how a TEAM affects individuals.(And his results were still good)

So my point...since you failed to get it the first time is that...the kid can play and would look better with better talent around him.  You don't think PR would be better if he was surrounded by better talent? If you think no then I'm glad we have scouts who can evaluate and imagine players as they are and as what they could be.

E. Sanders playing weight is 180 last year and Tavon Austin is 174 and Austin didn't get "lit up" or "destroyed". Even still he will have to put on weight there is no doubt that teams will be managing that.

His prior injury is worth a mention and I agree that he wont' be going before round 3 and I don't think he should go before then either. Is anyone REALLY saying he should go in the first...it's ridiculous people keep saying that about almost every prospect...

COMPARES TO: Emmanuel Sanders, Pittsburgh Steelers - Some will compare Richardson to Sanders' more established teammate Antonio Brown. Until Richardson (and Sanders) catch the ball with more consistency, however, each is likelier to earn more of a complementary role in the NFL despite natural playmaking ability.

Highlight reels are dangerously misleading.  RIchardson will not go before the third round IMO

He shouldn't go before the 3rd...no one should really be stating otherwise...he is just another WR with potential in this draft that seems to be a bottomless pit of WR talent.
