Zack Martin a Panther if he follows Moses (in draft) to Promise Land?

I'd take either of them at 28.

 

And THIS is why I think it is likely that we go T in the first round---I see the fifth T in the draft being there for us at 28, going by past drafts. 

 

I have not seen a mock where 5 OTs go before us. 

 

I would say the odds are about 75% that there is a top 5 T on the board when we pick.

 

Hoping this makes the point:  I bet we are taking a T in the first round, and I bet the T is Moses or Martin.

A quality LT and a second-round WR would be a good draft.  I don't think 1/4" difference in arm length between him and Gross means anything.

I've seen Martin play and he is an absolute beast. IMO he is a way better prospect then Moses. If we end drafting Martin I will be pleased

Just watched some cut ups of Martin. Seems solid in pass pro and underwhelming in run block.

No way Martin drops. Dude is way too versatile and skilled to make it to our pick.

Some sites are saying some NFL execs like Martin over Lewan even. Unfortunately I don't see either of those guys being there at 28. Maybe nog even Moses. We should take any of the 3 if they are there.

three mock drafts that came out in the last couple days have us taking Zach Martin at 28 (as the 4th OL taken after Robinson, Matthews, Lewan)

"for the Carolina Panthers, Martin fills a need on a desperate offensive line. Martin can play just about anywhere on the O-Line"

some had Martin going 27 to Saints

Looking at it now, really think if a top CB is there then he will be our BPA. A shut down CB would improve our team more than any other position.

With our pass rush, if our D can cross the opposing no.1 WR off the list then our LBs and Safeties can have a field day with INTs and deflections

There are always a few teams that will reach and grab a player in the first who is not on the list--this year, I see Z. Mettenberger (sp?), Hageman, Roby, Benjamin, and a few others who could do that.  Of course, that means some will fall.....which is what we are hoping for

Not to mention the fact that it is unlikely that we keep CJ after next season if we sign Hardy to a long term deal.
