He's still shooting 39%, yes he's clutch and he's a decent distributor. He's been better at it the last few weeks though. He's still a horrible volume shooter though.

Derozan is still on a better team and is the main focus point on offense and is a better player then Kemba.

No where did I say DeRozan wasn't better than Kemba, I don't see what this has to do the teams though. I mean Al is the best player on the floor when we play Toronto, so I don't see your point.

Oh and Kemba is a better player in every facet of the game than DeRozan except for scoring.

Just sign:

SG: Bledsoe or Stephenson (Turner also poss.)

SF: Gordon Hayward

Trade MKG.

You guys talk about a player who can't shoot......

Hopefully get something good for mkg.

They say D wins championships but last time I checked, you still have to out score the other team.IMO a guy who can't put the ball in the basket is useless, even if he plays spotty upper tier D.

My 5 for next year:

Walker

Bledsoe

Hayward

Zeller

Jefferson

That shouldnt cost as much as people think.

Won't matter anyways since we have so much cap.

I'm sure even after this there would be enough to sign some bench talent.

Players will want to be a hornet, idc what any of you say.

Hayward and Zeller aren't fast enough and good enough outside or P&R defenders to cover Jefferson.

Defense would take a hit just as much as the offense would improve. Pretty much the same team just a bit better offensively and worse defensively.

Adding Bledsoe to be the Sg digs the team defensively again, but a slight improvement to offense and at a huge near max cost for just him. Not counting the 9-10 a year it would cost to get Hayward.

Really dumb moves that cripple the team moving forward.

Some on here just don't understand what MKG means to this team defensively. Without him, Jefferson doesn't work.

If you keep Jefferson on the team, the Sf needs to be near elite defensively and be able to move really really well. Also needs to be an excellent offensive rebounder.

I can't think of but a few Sf's in the league that can do those things.

Carmelo isn't one of them and neither is Hayward, so neither works with Jefferson being here. Unless you want to have a defense give up 112 ppp. Which would be the worst defense in the league.

You play small and put Carmelo at the 4, problem solved.

MKG is incredibly overrated by Charlotte fans.

He's the reason the defense works with Jefferson in the middle, he's also the only player that Has the coaches permission to work the offensive glass on a miss. Everyone else is supposed to immediately drop back on a miss.

I'm not saying he's an amazing player, just saying that the sf in Clifford's system would need to play similar level of defense and offensive rebounding for the system and Jefferson to continue to work.

What's criminal is how under rated he is by those that don't understand The system in place or his importance to it working.

If you don't know those two things then don't comment on him being over rated.

It's weird how when he was injured we went from being a top 3 defense to being a bottom-of-the-league defense. And when he came back we went right back into the top 3. Also how when he sits during games the other team ALWAYS goes on a run. MKG is incredibly underrated because people only look at PPG to assess his value to the team.

He quite literally is the most important player on the court for the Bobcats. He allows Jefferson to minimize his defensive weaknesses and allows all the other players to play more aggressive on defense. He also has the most freedom of any I the players as well, Clifford has mentioned this a few times.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
