I don't think we are anywhere near needing to blow the team up and starting over and while I don't expect a huge splash in free agency I do think we will be able to add respectable talent that will improve us. I have no doubt about that.

While I do realize that Kemba is a volume shooter he is someone who can get a clean look seemingly at will and has proven himself to be clutch and I think Al's defense isn't nearly as bad as some make it out to be. I'm not saying he's all world or anywhere close but he is serviceable. MKG does everything well but shoot. His defense is great both on and off ball and his impact has been quantifiable as well visible.

McRoberts has his downfalls  but I think that his ability to pass and hit the 3 (though he does have his cold streaks) are undervalued. Hendo would be better served on the bench because I agree that he is "meh". I think we would all like a solid outside shooter with respectable defense in that slot.

Get a solid backup 1 (Sessions maybe?), Move Hendo to backup 2, Jeff Taylor's return, Zeller, and Biz. I don't know...I think we will be pretty solid in our return as the Hornets.

I'm watching Stephenson right now and I don't want anything to do with him,

He is J.R. Smith lite. For every good play he makes, he does something stupid to cancel it out.

Stephenson also seems to be one of the guys that Hibbert was referring to when he said that the Pacers had some selfish players. Remember, not to long ago Stephenson and Hill had to be separated in the locker room before a fight broke out.

I'd much rather have Eric Bledsoe.

I can't wait to see how much worse we are going to be after winning at least 42 games, will keep and continue to develop our young core, have a first round pick, and two first round picks next season, and @20 million to spend.

Should be devastating

Panic much?

Add Lance and use Hendo as trade bait to move up in draft with Portland pick. Add vet PG and another depth big man. Don't do anything stupid like adding a cancer like Rudy Gay.

Then we still have money for resigning core and 2 first rd picks next year. Detroit pick should be good and is only top 1-2 protected and our own pick.

I think Detroit's pick will be closer to 20 then 2. Lance is going to cost close to max, not really worth it. Hendo doesn't have a ton of value, might be worth a few spots in the draft.

Not a chance in Hades that the Suns don't match Bledsoe's offer sheet. He's staying in Phoenix.

Cho and Higgins have been saying for quite a while that we will bring in a big FA this year.

I see 2 potential scenarios:

1) Indiana retains one of Evan Turner or Lance Stephenson (I predict Turner) and the other goes on the open market. We come away with the other player or Gordon Hayward if Utah doesn't match his offer sheet.

2) McRoberts opts out of the second year of his contract (at 2.5 mil, I think it's possible). Our big FA is his replacement. My prediction here is Patrick Patterson. He's not a huge FA name but would fill McRoberts' spot well and allow us to have some money to spend on a good backup PG and maybe a wing player.

Also, I expect us to extend Kemba this offseason.

No reason to to still offer a contract.

Drive up that price so Phoenix doesn't have any money to spend going forward.

Also there is a better chance that we get Bledsoe than McRoberts opting out. It's a pretty well known fact that McRoberts likes it in Charlotte and is close with Jordan. Charlotte is also one of the only good teams that McRobertd would start for. He's not going anywhere.

Personally,I don't see us struggling next year...

- Pholadelphia and Milwaukee are at least three years away from competing while they continue to rebuild.

- New York, Indiana, Chicago, and Brooklyn have no money.

- Orlando, Detroit, and Cleveland are most likely going to blow their poo up and try to rebuild.

- Miami could possibly lose all their free agents.

In my opinion: Charlotte, Washington, Toronto, and Atlanta are in the best shape. They're all making the playoffs (which entices free agents) and each team has at least $13+ mil to spend in free agency. It's going to come down to how they use it.

I think we should throw all of our money at Melo, if he doesn't want to come; that's fine; then get to the salary floor and save the money until next year when Kevin Love becomes a free agent and we also have Detroit's pick which will most likely be a lotto pick.

You have to have a multiple players who are top 10 at their position to succeed in this league which is why I'm not a fan of spending money just to spend it. We've seen that you can get by with role players. So until we have the opportunity to sign a big name player, just keep filling out the roster with cheap roll players.

Go after LeBron, Melo, Wade, Dirk, Monroe, Duncan, Bledsoe, Randolph, Hayward, and Dengue this year... If you don't get anyone; don't settle for Gay... just wait until next year.

I don't see anyone from the Heat leaving, so #1 seed, Indiana without money is still a ton better then Charlotte, Chicago gets two picks In a very deep draft, much better then Charlotte, Toronto has a player with more upside then anyone on Charlotte's team, plus has good amount of money and a good team already. Washington and Atlanta are bigger free agent destinations then Charlotte and Washington is already better with a horribl coach.

Orlando has already blown up the team and has a top young player in oladipo, a young top big and a high pick in this draft. Add in a vet Sg who can score... Orlando could surprise next season.

Detroit is Smith taking better shots from being a playoff team.

I just don't see Charlotte getting any big name free agents or even a moderate one. The team is stuck at adding a Sg or going after a player that can score and play comparable defense to MKG.

Charlotte isn't getting a melo or James or even a Love to come here.

As for McRoberts opts out , he'll be back with a bigger contract. MJ loves him and thinks he's the most valuable player on the team.

I agree with you about Bledsoe but Phoenix will match up to the max for him. There's a 0% chance he is in Charlotte next season.

As for McRoberts, it was a prediction of something that COULD happen. He's only making 2.5 million next year. He could easily make more as a backup somewhere else. It comes down to whether he would rather play in Charlotte or if he wants more money. He may love it in Charlotte but that doesn't mean he'll stay. Money talks. Especially when you're making very little compared to your peers and are widely regarded as one of the best value contracts in the league.

Heat: LBJ could very well leave.

Indiana: They may lose Stepheson and also not have any money to improve while Charlotte has a higher draft pick and a bunch of money to improve the roster.

Chicago: There picks aren't even in the top 15, they won't be getting a superstar with those picks. Overall they're going to have the same team.

Toronto: We swept them... and I don't know the player who you are talking about... It can't be DeRozan (he's a volume shooter who has maxed out his potential).

Washington: Once again, we swept them and they are not an attractive destination, anyone that has been to D.C. will tell you that.

Atlanta: The Hawks will be better with Horford back, they are going to be a good team.

Orlando: Oladipo has shown promise and the Magic still suck. They were also shopping Afflalo this year, they very well may get rid of him creating more holes.

Detroit: Smith is just like Gay, wherever he goes; that team struggles. Detroit will suck again.

I'm guessing Al Jefferson who is an All-NBA player isn't a big time player or even moderate player just because he came to play in Charlotte.

Bottom line is you don't know if big-time free agents will want to come play in Charlotte. Money and a chance to win outweigh destination and right now we can give players both.

It's obvious that you will never be happy. We're in the playoffs and you're still complaining.

I bet number one overall pick, superstar player Kyrie Irving would love to be in the playoffs right now but I guess just because your team gets a good player with a high draft pick doesn't mean you're guaranteed anything.

He's the same thing that Kemba is, except he plays a position it's beneficial at and shoots above 42% at least. He's a much better player then Kemba. Lmao at any thoughts otherwise. Kemba is shooting what 39% on 15.5 attempts a game this season when he has a reliable big in Jefferson.

Kemba is a volume shooter who sucks at shooting, yea he's got a cross over and a step back buck doesn't shoot consistently enough thy either is a big threat.

Fortunately, Cho is in charge, not MJ. I'm sure he values McBob at his contract value. If we're going to pay more at the PF spot, I'm sure we would upgrade rather than pay extra to stay the course. Cho's smarter than that.

Where have you been all season?

He hits big time shots when we need them and has become a great distributor.

These past two games indicate what Kemba means to this team.

DeRozan is a one-dimensional player. He scores, that's it. Our 5'11 point guard averages just as many rebounds as their 6-7 shooting guard... that's embarrassing.

He's still shooting 39%, yes he's clutch and he's a decent distributor. He's been better at it the last few weeks though. Great distributor would average 10+ assists and less then 3 to's. He's still a horrible volume shooter though and that's the biggest part of his game since he's below average on defense

Derozan is still on a better team and is the main focus point on offense and is a better player then Kemba.
