Ex-NFL player charged with attempting to murder NFL hopeful :blink:

 

 

Former NFL player Brandon Winey has been arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder in the Friday shooting of former LSU linebacker Tahj Jones.

The New Orleans Times Picayune reports that police say the 36-year-old Winey got into a fight with Jones and then pulled a gun late on Friday night.

“Winey produced a handgun and shot Jones in the abdomen,” police said.

That may or may not be true. It must be settled in a court of law. Football and or Ridell may be the culprit in this fiasco. If this fine young man had not been subjected to the numerous collisions associated with this violent sport he may have retained a better control over his mental and emotional state.

The root cause in his inability to function in a civil manner may be the result of negligence by sports equipment manufacturers, the NFL, the NCAA, Gatorade, and Cam Newton.

These evil entities must be held accountable for the glorification of a senseless sport.

This young man is a VICTIM!!!

MOAR RULE CHANGES!!!
