With the WR's in this draft, we MUST get one in the first three rounds.

If we can draft at least two of these guys, our OL will have some swag. I'm personally rooting for Su'a-Filo and Bitonio.

Take receivers and throw in two of those guys in the first four rounds and I'd be elated.

Su'a-Filo is honestly my favorite out of the Guards. I want us to draft him badly.

I'd take him in the second in a second, but I can't see him lasting that long, especially with all the teams that need OL help. Two of my favorite words associated with OL- mean streak.

If the guy is BPA, sure why not.  Remember we are only a season removed from Ryan being on IR the entire season,and he's making a huge sum of money. If you can bring in a guy who can also play RG effectively and  be a backup plan, why not?

IIRC, next year is the worst at almost 12 M, but it goes down a bit after that.

 

It's still a very large number though, and one that we probably can't afford if we are trying to get Cam and Luke UC for the long haul.

 

Ummm Why can't we? DG already said he would use the 5th year option next year. Buy the time we get ready to talk long terms with Cam and Luke  in the next 2 years. The cap will increase another 20-30 million in the 2 years a long with getting Dwill and JStew both off the books and saving us another 10 million. We should have more then enough cap for Cam and Luke long contracts and without worrying about Khail contract.

Kalil's cap hit next year is 11.8 M I'm pretty sure.

 

Not many C's are paid that well, and DG may be looking to move on.

 

Not a chance in hell.  

 

Kalil isn't going anywhere.  He is as important as a LT.  You have to have a smart man under center to make all those calls and still protect HIS QB. 

 

Cut Smitty, Let Gross retire, don't sign Ginn or Mitchell I was pissed but understood.   Let Kalil walk I would be furious at Gettleman.

 

You just don't let a quality center like that walk.  Take a look at how long former Tarheel Jeff Saturday was with Peyton Manning.

 

Kalil may one day be a HOFer.
