Kindof nice if you think about it...

All 3 of our QB's have NFL regular season starting experience.

Not many teams can say that.

Out of curiosity, I had to look up which teams could say the same. They are as follows:

Baltimore - John Beck, Joe Flacco, Troy Smith.

Houston - Rex Grossman, Dan Orlovsky, Matt Schaub.

Tennessee Titans - Patrick Ramsey, Vince Young, Kerry Collins.

Kansas City Chiefs - Brody Croyle, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Cassell.

Oakland Raiders - Charlie Frye, Jeff Garcia, Bruce Gradkowski, JaMarcus Russell.

Philadelphia Eagles - A.J. Feely, Kevin Kolb, Donovan McNabb.

New Orleans Saints - Drew Brees, Mark Brunell, Joey Harrington.

Arizona Cardinals - Kurt Warner, Matt Leinart, Brian St. Pierre (only a game).

Marc Bulger, Kyle Boller, Brock Berlin (only started a game).

San Francisco - Shaun Hill, Damon Huard, Alex Smith.

There are a few quarterbacks in that list that have barely played, but still, it's not as rare as one might think.

Looking at the list you'll realize that depth isn't everything, as some of those teams have questionable starters. Still, I'm pretty happy with our current trio of quarterbacks.

Andre woodson has never started a nfl game take the giants off...

Kansas City Chiefs - Brody Croyle, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Cassell (unproven from top to bottom)

New York Giants - David Carr (well, sort of)

San Francisco - Shaun Hill, Damon Huard, Alex Smith (major ouch)

God forbid, if Delhomme were to get hurt again, I'd feel much better about it than when it happened two years ago. Hopefully we can see a lot more out of Matt Moore in camp with the starters, or hell even a few snaps in a preseason game with the 1st stringers would be amazing.

    • I think a big difference between players and fans is that we're most impressed by those crazy passes that seem thrown like missiles for 30 yards down the field. BY can't really do that... Instead, he throws with anticipation, where he's throwing the ball before a receiver is anywhere near where the route finishes (this alone isn't that uncommon). But when and how he does that is really impressive I think, and what a lot of former players are commenting on. With that kind of passing you have to be decisive, which he finally has been the last few games.
    • little bit out of the price range. i doubt i'll be able to make it happen. would love it, though. a flat over a coffee shop would make me the happiest.
    • It's a no-win situation. If you want to judge it on SOS, then just put five SEC teams in. If you want to do it by record, better add in something like Army, BYU, Indiana, Tulane, etc. The "it's a 12 team field now' excuse is nothing more than entertainment for the fans ... which is fine. My only gripe is that if a crap team wins one of the Power 4 (5) leagues, they should not get a bye or better seed.
