Raiders releasing Pryor tomorrow.  I'd rather sign him as a third stringer than draft one this

year.  He'd be cheap.

No way can we even consider taking Bridgewater unless he falls a ton.  That said, I would not mind snagging this guy with a 7th round pick.

 

A nice developmental prospect who can outplay-DA-right-away.

Everyone seems to have this feeling Cam isn't going to sign a contract when his time is up.  He loves it here in Carolina.  He is close to home and this is HIS TEAM.  Why would he want to leave?   Too many of you guys are wrapped up in the $$$$ and "We can't afford him" mentality.   Gettleman will have the franchise turned upright and will easily get Cam a sweet 4 or 5 year deal.  He'll be a Panther for life.

 

I highly doubt we draft a 1st round QB.   Trading back maybe.  I think we would invest in a talented late round QB that might be groomed to be a starter one day but a player to replace Cam, no way.

Aaron Rogers is that example of a QB that's highly ranked going into the draft, slips because of some predraft issue, and becomes successful.

But it's much more likely that the guy slips for a very legit reason and doesn't have what it takes to be in the NFL like small hands, slight frame, not ideal height, pictures of him in a speedo train with other guys, tendency to check down all the time or take a sack. Just sayin
