Kevin Weidl from ESPN on Morgan Moses

I don't know a lot about the OTs this hear but I do know a lt about the wrs. Besides cooks, I feel like there isn't a steel drop off in the late first and late second round wrs. So if the choice was between a pro bowl t and a pro bowl wr. I would go with the t. This Moses guy better be good though. I do not like hearing nfl has him listed as a 4-5 round pick, but all his weaknesses seem coach able.

Moses as a 4th or 5th rounder lmao

My lil sister can see he is a 2nd - 3rd rounder off nothing but physical talents alone.

If you look at the history of first rounders at WR, it does not give you courage. Moses would be the safe pick, possibly the best pick if he plays LT.

Take a look at franchise tag salaries and you can see what positions are worth--supply and demand. An average LT salary is way higher than an average WR salary.  That means they are more rare.

More points:

Gettlemen likes the big boys.

T is a safer pick.

A T impacts nearly every play.  A WR impacts some plays.

We are in a conference that has put a focus lately on pressuring the QB--New Orleans and Rob Ryan, Atlanta wants Clowney, and the Bucs are about to become Lovie's team.

We need a starter NOW.  Moses is a starter from day 1.

Moses is a high character guy.  That means a lot to DG and JR.

There are quality WRs through the second round, but the T supply dips dramatically after Zack Martin/Moses. Tiny RIchardson and Cyrus' knees hurt the supply--more question marks.Mewhort projects to RT, Bitonio's arms are a bit short and he could be a guard.  Turner is from a small school and has little quality tape.  Hurst has the broken leg---

WR in the second round probably eliminates your chance of getting a game-changing #1, but few become that anyway.

Really great points.   I also think that G-man knows how to find that hidden WR talent (Cruz) and hopefully he would pull his magic in the late rounds or FA.     I know that makes some cringe but I have faith.

OT on day one

WR and OL day two

BPA all day in day three.

I want WR so bad, but in my brain and heart, OT OT OT.... I think you are right.

This article hits on the depth of the draft at WR:

You get a big boy that gives Cam more time to throw.  Those second and third round guys turn into 1st round guys.

6'6" tall, weighs 314 lbs, and has 34 ¾" arms

I saw him on NFL AM the morning show on NFL network that makes me micro-vomit at times, and I was impressed with him as a high-character, intelligent person.  The Panthers have chatted with him and (I think) worked him out, so they know him.

They sure do.  The same way paying Hardy may not be such a bad idea because he helps make below-average DBs look respectable.

Honestly I love those players that come from good schools.  (Virginia, Stanford)  Those schools are less inclined to give grades away and their student athletes are quite smart.

You got a big boy as big as he is. who is quick on his feet and smart.  Even if he isn't as quick or athletic as some.  Smarts can play a big part.

I would take Morgan Moses over Cyrus Kouandjilo any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
