Terrell Thomas at vet min for this year and draft WR and OT only early (BPA in later rounds) then we should be good to pick a corner or two next year. Perfect.

The addition of a 2nd TE softens the blow ever so slightly, ever so slightly enough that the DB has to be considered if the value is there.

It definitely doesn't. Dickerson really isn't that good. Ravens choose often injured item Daniels over him. We still need a number 1 weapon over a corner . Period. Not to mention a tackle. With our front seven we can make a 4th round gem look like a first rounder

Pick a player, any player, in this draft, especially for a possible pick at 28, and there is a "flaw" on paper at this time. Nobody knows what will happen, but we have to be prepared for anything. Size is the only issue with Verrett, and he may be long gone before 28. He would certainly be an asset to this team.

5'10 isn't too bad. asante Samuel is probably around that height and he has had a great career.

lol. Nah. Ever watched the guy play? He's ferocious, perfect fit for our system. Not many big corner possess the foot speed and agility to play in our system, panthers dont play man up back to the ball

if it were just one season you may be right but it has been at least 3 seasons. When the front 7 is ineffective the secondary cannot step up. We need a secondary that can stand on it's own. that makes it a bigger need in the early rounds because we already have the equivalent of later round DB's. Waiting for the later rounds would be just adding more of the same. We have the backup talent, now let's get some starting talent in there.

I wouldn't take Verret in the first. There's guys like SJB and Desir who I'd much rather have later on in the draft, who are both big, physical corners.

Just because they're big doesn't make them better corners. I would be happy with Fuller or Verrett in rnd.1
