Trade Up For MIKE EVANS?

We looked terrible to start the off season. Now, with the additions of Cotchery, Underwood, Avant, Cason, Harper, and DeCoud it surely helped us. I would personally trade up all the way to Minnesota at no8 and take him. Give away (2014 1st, 2014 2nd, and 2015 1st) for him. Hes def worth the risk!

We are a WR (Mike Evans) from making another run!!!

We can find OTs in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Do you really think trading away 2 1sts and a 2nd for Evans is a good deal? We have holes bc Hurney traded up so much. Like other people said if he falls and we only have to give a 3rd to trade up, great I would love that. Not gonna happen though he is too good. Not good enough to trade to #8 though. I just hope Tampa doesn't take him

Thats crazy as hell. Im pretty sure we can learn a lesson from the falcons that this is a bad idea. On top of that no one even knows what next year draft holds could possibly be someone better. Can not get greedy right now

To be fair every option should be on the table. Trade up/down with players or picks. If it helps the team without costing too much then it should be considered. If a team would take this years 1 and 2 and next years 2 or 3 then who wouldn't jump up for a guy like that. Getts will only make the deal if the Panthers come out of it the winner.

Evans is probably the only guy i think it's worth trading up for, with his play-making ability.  Unfortunately, we would probably have to go in the top 10 maybe even top 5 to get him.  A first this year and next year is the minimum cost, which is probably worth it.

they went to the playoffs both years Jones was fully healthy.  that's a good lesson to learn from.

Evan is a big guy with average speed who is a converted basketball player.  He might be the next megatron if he ran 4.3 instead of a pedestrian 4.5 but at this point is more of a possession receiver than a field stretcher. He could be an issue if he were paired up with Vincent Jackson in Tampa but he won't make it close enough to our pick to justify trying to trade up in the top 15 to pick him.  Especially when there will be other guys who are comparable later on.  And really we already have a big receiver who ran a 4.47 on his pro day named Greg Olsen who is 6'6" and 254..

i understand some of you guys concerns but your putting way to much in his 40 time, the 40yd dash is the most overrated event at the combine...........especially for wr's. personally we don't need him to be Calvin Johnson, a beast wr but that has got them to the playoffs once and that cap is paralyzing

Trading away a 2 first and a second for a WR in this draft is stupid.  I said it.   Stupid.  Especially for a WR that isn't even considered to be the top WR in this draft.

Maybe if it was a Robinson or Mathews.    But for Mike Evans?   Really?   I thought this was a joke thread but some of you are really serious.

wait, you would be willing to trade 2 firsts and a second(not even sure where you got that from to begin with) for either of two guys who will both be available at #28?  but to make that same trade to a guy who will be gone by #10 at the latest is stupid?  and you are serious?  your guys are late firsts at best, Evans is widely considered the best WR, #2 at worst.
