Lets not kid ourselves. Byron Bell and Chandler are locks along with Kalil and Amini.

No way do I see Gman drafting two OLs high especially as rookies to start. Kug and Scott will have the chance to compete for a starting job. We could possibly get a Mewhort or Bitonio in the 3rd.

 

I don't agree that that they are locks at all. I feel like they want to have as much competition as possible and quite frankly I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that an UDFA DT turned OT is a lock. I'll chalk that one up as "its late"

 

Mewhort will not be a 3rd rounder but could be there in the 2nd for us which would be great, especially if we draft the BWRA in the 1st.

If we move up to 8 it better be for one of the top 3 tackles, not Evans. I like him but it's not worth throwing away picks to get him when we could possibly get Lee, Cooks or beckham at 28. I honestly like Landry better than any receiver in the draft but we won't pick him at 28.

We looked terrible to start the off season. Now, with the additions of Cotchery, Underwood, Avant, Cason, Harper, and DeCoud it surely helped us. I would personally trade up all the way to Minnesota at no8 and take him. Give away (2014 1st, 2014 2nd, and 2015 1st) for him. Hes def worth the risk!

We are a WR (Mike Evans) from making another run!!!

We can find OTs in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

That's giving up way too much, and more importantly then Evans....we need a tackle.

So trading up no but i would never use a first round on Manziel, that's a sure thing.

Agreed. It's rare that they're all legit. Which is why I also have serious concers about the LSU WR duo. One of those guys is probably not legit, but which one? What I'm damn sure of is that Mettenberger is a fraud. Some QB desperate team probably takes that guy in the 2nd.

to put it simply as others have ad nauseam, we don't need an elite guy in our offense.  I'm not sure we can get him the ball in the spots that make him elite in the first place and I don't think we have a line that can pass block well enough for him to get open when he would be the obvious #1 drawing the most coverage.

 

We want to hold the ball and we need grinders all over the place more than we need a true #1.  

 

I hope the first WR we draft is Abbredaris in the third round.
