D-Will in shock over loss of receiving corp

Why is everyone on DWill? Who the hell was not shocked when we lost our WR corp? Being shocked and being condescending are different. He was not saying it as he had an agenda to undermine the FO. Much about nothing in my opinion.

My problem with it was the way he talked about the new receivers. By saying "not to throw them under this bus" means he's doing exactly that. Makes him sound like a d-bag RB that is underwhelming in performance.

Dwill should have said "I don't know what is going on, I have faith in the front office".

Bitching and complaining about the WRs from last season being gone...  serves no purpose other than possibly putting a wedge between him and the new WRs.

yea um no.

giving any rb that contract who isn't AP is retarded. You can find similar production dwill has had over that contract in a 6th round draft pick.

AND HEY guess what we could have used all that money for .....

A fuging WIDE RECEIVER

Alfred Morris has more production the last 2 years than both D Will and J Stew combined in these last 2 years. Unbelievable

So, removing the seasons that Stewart was there to lighten the load (which I stated in my post) and the last few years where he's had a game that is an anomaly (the saints game), his yards don't look so hot.

Couple that with him saying poo like this on television, and he becomes less of a JAG than he already is.

He's been splitting carries with Cam, Stewart, and Tolbert. Hard to get 1,000 yards every season when you don't get a ton of carries.

Preach

Seriously? DWill is clearly clueless, as everyone else in this thread has  already pointed out. With his contract we can't afford much else. He shold just collect his money and stay quiet. He has a fair point in being shocked, but don't blame the current FO or put pressure on them when you are hamstringing them. Anyone who can't accept that is clueless as well.

Why? It's just business. D-Wil wants to win, and it's hard to win when Jericho Cotchery is your number one receiver.

Having his money means he doesn't give a fug what you, Gettleman, Rivera, or JR thinks about his comments. People keep their mouth shut because they still need to get paid. Dwill knows this is probably his last contract, and he's going to get his money regardless.

Wait so what exactly is your argument? We have no money to spend on a good oline because it's tied up in albatross Hurney contracts like the one Williams signed, so Williams can't be productive because we have no oline or receivers to stretch the field and it's ok that Williams bitches about it in the media because he already got his paycheck so he doesn't care anymore?

I have problem with the comments. It was his opinion. BUT, I would have loved for them to have asked him if he feels as if him & Stew are overpaid due to their lack of existence & how that is affecting the cap hell we are in that has the FO making these kind of moves. Now that would have been an entertaining interview.

so we would definitely win the super bowl next year with the team we had? you act like that is a sure thing

or would you rather take your chances regrouping, being able to sign cam and luke long term, (because that is a BIG question mark if we resigned all of our other players), letting greg hardy walk who was a big piece in that playoff run and his ceiling looks similar to Cams.

you want immediate gratification, winning the superbowl isn't some automatic thing; or we could regroup, get the cap in order, draft talent (which gettleman is known for) and come back at this thing with more firepower and a longer window of opportunity.

gettleman made his choice. not enough bitching and whining in the world will change that. i don't think you realize the cap implications of keeping the players we had on the 2013 squad. mike mitchell got paid 25 fuging million dollars.

Your window of opportunity gets narrower when you have a guy on your team on a 100 million dollar contract. You can get better without getting worse. Your goal is to win a Super Bowl, when you see guys like Mike Mitchell almost in tears over a win, you know you're building something special. Last year should have been built upon.
