D-Will in shock over loss of receiving corp

That's not his point, his point is that Dwill couldn't break a tackle if his life depended on it so it wouldn't be smart to give him the ball at the goal line..meanwhile, Marshawn lynch....

He's not a power runner but neither is Lesean Mccoy. Thats where scheme comes in. Its not his fault we are trying to run a power run scheme with a guy who needs space. That makes him overpaid on our team, that doesn't mean he sucks. We aren't using him effectively. Thats on the team not him. If you watch AP by the way he is the king of negative yards before he breaks one.

tiquan underwood yards per reception: 18.3

calvin johnson yards per reception: 17.8

sorry lions fans but i think the numbers clearly show who is better

WR's must get open to get more catches, major difference dumb ass. You don't simply hand the ball off to them.

but i thought you said numbers never lie?

They don't if you say that Tiquan averages more yards per catch than Calvin Johnson-FACT, does that make him better? Nope. You would have to be a dumb ass to actually believe that you can compare a wrs ypc, and a rbs avg ypc. Lots of different factors that determine how many catches a wr get. So you can't take a wr ypc and project it to yardage.

You must have missed the "clutch" part...

Dwill has great hands until the game is on the line and we really need him to hold on to it...

We should totally judge DeAngelo by one game instead of his whole career. Sounds fair to me! Let's judge Cam by his four-pick Arizona game, or judge Luke Kuechly by the Buffalo game, or judge Graham Gano by that extra point he missed once, or judge Mike Tolbert by failing to get across the goal line in the SF game, or judge...

it's to illustrate the folly of your argument ya silly goose

i'll humor you though.  i just googled the first marginal flash in the pan running back i could think of (jerious norwood) and his career ypc is almost a yard higher than that of either lynch or williams.

wow this is turning out to be more fun than i expected

mike goodson: 4.7 ypc/career

e: that stat was a bit out of context and i'd like to apologize as it's on the wrong scale for what was posted about lynch/williams.  goodson's 2013 ypc was actually 8.7 which makes him twice as good as lynch or williams.  sorry for the confusion.

You want Running back ypc?

Donald brown 5.3 ypc

LeGarette Blount 5.0 ypc

Andre Elllington 5.5 ypc

Are all better than....

Frank gore 4.1 ypc

Matt Forte 4.6 ypc

Adrian Peterson 4.5

Because numbers never lie...
