D-Will in shock over loss of receiving corp

I was all for signing double trouble at all costs. Now not so much.

And I was against drafting Kuechly at all costs because we had All-Pro Beason.

The difference is some of us learn from the stupid poo we do and others just dig in even deeper in spite of overwhelming evidence that contradicts their initial stance on something.

I even bolded it to make it easier for you smh. Numbers don't lie people, as much as you wish they did.

sometimes they do, when you watch the flow of the game. the consistency of the rb. which rb do you think is better

-1 rush

2 rush

-2 rush

3 rush

30 yards rush

or

5 yard rush

6 yard rush

3 yard rush

12 yard rush

6 yard rush

which rb is helping the chains move more? which rb is more consistent? which rb puts us in a better position on 3rd downs? who fights to get that extra yardage more?

if you can't think critically then fine, but there are reasons behind numbers usually. dwill is that spurt kind of rb, he is not a workhorse.

this is what marshawn does. he gives you more options on the play because instead of 3rd and 11 it's 3rd and 5 or 3rd and 6.

when you have a rb that can't consistently gain yardage play in and play out it handcuffs your playcalling on 3rd downs.

You're proving my point, Dwill not being worth the money has nothing to with him.

That's not his point, his point is that Dwill couldn't break a tackle if his life depended on it so it wouldn't be smart to give him the ball at the goal line..meanwhile, Marshawn lynch....

Steve Smith $9MM for < 800 yards

Deangelo Williams $6MM < 900 yards

Jonathan Stewart $6MM < 400 yards

You are absolutely right, numbers don't ever lie, unless of course they don't mesh well with your preconceived narrative, in which case numbers do lie and it's the offensive lines fault or the scheme or the trainers or the strength and conditioning staff or...

Indeed

Marshawn Lynch-301 carries-1257 yards 4.2 avg

Deangelo Williams-201 carries-843 yards 4.2 avg

Lynch is significantly more productive and makes less...indeed.

you should stop

tiquan underwood yards per reception: 18.3

calvin johnson yards per reception: 17.8

sorry lions fans but i think the numbers clearly show who is better

See, NTTC gets it. Numbers don't lie, therefore Underwood is better than Megatron and The Golden Calf of Bristol is better than Cam because ESPN QBR.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
