He almost had 900 yards, and he's being paid like he should have had over 1,200 as a workhorse back.

Smitty almost had 800 yards and was being paid like he should have had 1,200 or more.

Williams contract is a microcosm of this teams problems, which is why he should keep his fuging mouth shut, but you have no problem with what he said because it's honest? So if Tolbert came out and said Williams is old and shitty, and Stewart can't get off a bike, and I'm contributing way more than either of those two bums and yet I'm the one making peanuts would you have no problem with that because it's 100% fact?

You honestly don't think the guys playing in front of him have anything to do with that? Or the carries that Tolbert and Cam take from him? This is what I've been preaching to you guys about Cam. If you take Cam and pay him 100 million, then he needs to produce like it and he can't if he's not allowed to.

I'm glad everyone is shocked and surprised...no more Hurney bullshit no more feeling comfortable if you put forth minimum effort/output. It has finally dawned on me that some of you are so affected by the cutting of Steve Smith that it doesn't matter what Gettleman does, you hate him and will always distort reality to fit your narrative that everything in your world that is wrong is Dave Gettleman's fault.

 

I will admit that it is different having a GM making the tough personal decisions but I think he is doing the right thing to build a winning franchise.

You said it's ok for Williams to say this because he's already been paid and he no longer cares about anything. Do you honestly believe that?

Also, you can't cherry pick your favorite players like Williams and Smitty and excuse their shitty production with scheme or play calling or poor supporting cast, but then immediately write off the production of the guys we brought in to replace them by saying they are awful. Who is to say the scheme they were in before didn't favor them stats wise? Underwood could take it to the house every time but maybe he wasn't used in a scheme properly?

1 rush -2 yards

he is the definition of inconsistency. and you can bitch about the o-line, but my guess is if we plugged in a drafted rb he would produce the same, quite possibly more since he is younger and less worn down.
