I would normally say the same thing in a trolling manner but I got a strange feeling about this. I wouldn't put it past Gettleman cutting Williams as a June 1st designation and signing Johnson to a reasonable deal. 

 

Maybe Johnson wants to move closer to his college roots or maybe he wants to play with Cam and would be willing to take a little less. Also Jim Skipper was there for a year, maybe they got along.

 

Overall I don't think we'll sign him nor do I think it's a good use of funds but who knows, didn't think we'd cut Smith either.

I just posted a review of the jersey....unfortunately it takes 3-5 days to make it on there and I doubt it will ever show up.

 

I really liked this shirt and was so excited when it finally arrived. I wore it out immediately and was ridiculed beyond belief while shopping for eggs and fresh fruit at my local Harris Teeter. How was I to know that Chris Johnson doesn't even play for the Panthers nor has he ever. Thankfully I found this out prior to wearing it to church on Sunday which I planned to do. I have a front row seat most Sundays, and that would have been embarassing. Shame on you NFL.com! For Shame!

I'll never forget when the Panthers were first awarded a franchise back in 1993.  You know who broke the news on local TV?  It wasn't the NFL or Jerry Richardson, it was some guy at a local screen printing company who got the green light to start making shirts.  That's how I found out we were getting an NFL team.
