Lafell has more than 1 highlight catch and people here still claim his hands aren't there.

 

It's well known that Dickson has the dropsies.  If you aren't one to watch the NFL as a whole just google "Ed Dickson problem with drops".

 

If you hate Lafell for dropping the ball...you'd wanna literally murder this guy after a few games.

If Panthers can get him cheap i dont see why they shouldnt sign him, he has shown he has potential and its not like he would be our number one TE right of the bat. SIGN HIM UP!!!

Well I don't know that I would say that he had no problem catching passes. There were some drops.

 

Still, Dickson with Cam and Olsen could do a lot of good for him.

Ginn gator armed plenty of deep passes last year...not sure what you are talking about.

 

Ginn had his best year but he had plenty of trouble catching the ball and making a CONSISTENT contribution...it was boom or bust.

I'm game.  Sad this likely means no ASJ who I've wanted for months, but after the way FA has gone down, WR/OL/DB simply makes more sense next month.

I worry about guys with questionable hands coming to Carolina. Cam throws a mean fastball especially down the middle where Dickson would most likely be running.

I do like us bringing in another TE though, still young and is athletic. Kind of what we say about Brandon Williams.

He's basically Lafell at TE.

Dickson only dropped five of the 43 passes thrown his way last year. Here is how he did at the combine compared to LaFell:

LaFell - 4.58 forty at 6-3/211

Dickson - 4.59 forty at 6-4/249

I would be thrilled to get him as our #2 TE. I think Cam would be too
