I hope this board is arguing over who is better for the next decade.

Exactly it's fuging crazy how lucky we were. Not only did we hit big on back to back first round picks after that abysmal 2010. We got record breaking- franchise changing future HOF players.

That is a debate topic for sure.  Keuchly is more polished and better at MLB than Cam is at QB. Kuechly is the best at his position in the NFL, while Cam is in the top quarter.  

HOWEVER----I am not dissing Cam because he has the upside to be the best QB to ever play--he needs to get his lower body mechanics right, but every other area he has needed to improve has been improved.  We sure take Cam's athleticism for granted when we checklist his QB skills off the list.  That is a mistake I make, probably because some of the stuff he can do is not necessarily an attribute of a great QB. 

 

The bottom line--What you said.  Having these two guys makes being a Panther fan glorious.

no one in the nfl at the qb position could do that. nobody. that 20 yard pass is probably one of the greatest i've seen from an individual in all my time watching the NFL. when it happened i was with a group of people and my buddy just yelled out "MY GOD how did he do that"

 

maybe i think this way because Cam is like a billion times more flashy than keek when he makes plays. that's probably it.

He gets beat miserably, bends at the waist, then-while the QB is still on his feet--becomes a spectator and starts WALKING.  AAAAHHH.

Off topic - Cam Newton is a man playing among boys.

 

On topic - Luke Kuechly, if he stays healthy, is a sure bet for the HOF at his current rate.  What second year player is tying the single game tackles record and spearheading the #2 defense in the league?  No way in HELL the Panthers defense is even in the top 10 without him.

ha! yea but Bell is the reason Cam was able to make that play to make me feel all drunkenly giddy so i give him a pass on that.

What makes Cam's WOW plays so impressive to me is how easy he makes it look.  Fact is these defensive players are some of the best athletes in the world, and Cam makes them look like 7 year olds trying to tackle their father.

I was going to say something less poetic but similar.  What is it about this guy that suggests he will not be one of the greatest ever to play the game?  He dominated in college, he dominated as a rookie, he dominated as a second-year pro.  24 tackles--do people realize that there are NFL starters who do not get that many in a season? 

 

I said it before and I shall again (pronounced, a gane' for poetic effect--British accent suggested)--Luke is the best player on this football team.

 

QCB...........dat you?
