I'm not concerned. He'd be a nice little signing, but not getting him wouldn't really be a "loss." Just whatever. Now Terrell Thomas, that's a different story. If we don't sign him that's a huge loss for us in my opinion.

you know its going to be for one yr and some change but just think about the contract next yr when we finish top five D and make it to the playoffs.  they'll be lining up.

I would have been ok with the signing but I'm also ok with us not signing him. No real loss here.

DeCoud would be a fool not to sign here.  With our defense, he'll be back to probowl form, looking for a payday next year.  The only other team with a better defense is Seattle, but he wouldn't be starting there even if they did sign him.  This of course is the best place to sign, and no doubt in my mind he will sign here.
